If you have low confidence, start small and gradually build up your competence and the confidence will start to grow. It's like building muscle.

Competence builds confidence. And about that. Your sound will get a lot better if you turn off auto-gating on your mic or in your audio post-processing. Instead focus on getting the mic closer, while turning down the rec volume (just mind your breath so you don't blow out the sound with it - use head phones and do a few test runs so you're sure there is no breath pops - or use a mic with a pop filter, basically a glorified panty hose that stops explosive air flow).

I lot of people doesn't understand how much strength its needed for control this kind of urges and I try my best, I already have quitter Corn some months ago and I try to touch myself less possible. Some times when the trigger come (and them are everywhere nowadays) it's like having a loaded gun in your hand, plenty of animals around you and you are starving badly. usually it's not even s*x for me but real intimacy. I had bad experiences with girls, ghosted, cheated on, and now I want to have some standards for a good relationship but it's really hard to find so i struggle with loneliness. Therapy helps and content like yours also but sometimes I just want someone who I can give my love to and who loves and respect me. God bless you

Okay. What happens if a man is a nice guy, but is not overly confident, charismatic or dominant? Is he destined to be a monk? Or maybe he should instead wait until women mellow out and drop their egos (usu. sometime after age 50)? I'm 52m and never married. I think the latter is going to be my strategy. Personally, I think the "prerequisites" to be competitive in today's dating market are absurd and driven chiefly by superficiality heavily influenced by social media "influencers" coupled with reality TV. I'm out of the "starting a family phase" due to age, but the sad reality is that many younger people (both men *and* women) will likely never have the opportunity to marry or start families because of what is going on today.
