Yes, please do an episode about the theological differences between Lisa and John! I think that would be so helpful to know who the two handle those things.

I would really love to hear John and Lisa talk about how they deal with their theological differences and what they are. This is an issue in my home and I don't know how to navigate it!

Wow, "seek to understand more than being understood". Asking others to help you understand rather than merely proving a point... Great advice.

Sometimes the confrontation is because of a wound/hurt and many times we fail to do the repair work. Yes, an apology does wonders but taking a step further of asking the person we wounded/hurt what I can do to repair the and actually doing it will be more impactful and long lasting.

I appreciate this because we don't have a proper marriage counselor around where we live and this is so vital for what we are going through. I honestly appreciate the reality..

This discussion was so useful even for a single person! Great insight and knowledge 👌. Maybe do a similar discussion on how to navigate conflict with parents and slightly older children? I believe that is another beneficial discussion for a lot of folks. Thank you for consistent/Godly/useful content once again 🙏.

Can you ask Lisa how she dealt with gender disappointment? I'm a mom of 6,5 and 3 year old boys. We got pregnant with our 4th son, it was a surprise. And we find out it's another boy. I can't seem to get over the disappointment in having a fourth boy. How did Lisa move past that if she ever was or how do I get myself to move past that. I totally love my 3 boys though. Thank you so much for this insightful podcasts

I was very surprised by my 4th pregnancy. And it took a while to get use to the idea. I look at my child now at 11 years old and cant imagine life any different. I pray you have much joy in this pregnancy ❤

@@SJD36 thank you so much. My good friend tells me the same, that I'll fall so in love with the baby once he's here that I'll forget all I'm feeling now. I keep praying for God's help. Thank you so much

My husband always makes me feel like I am a problem to fix. He says I am disobedient because I have too many opinions. Everytime I bring something to the table about our family he says I need to ask him and not make suggestions. Everytime I do that he says he feels disrespected. I am to the place where I don't want to share things with him in the fear that I am not speaking correctly. We have argues in front of our kids and I am shameful. He tries to correct me in front of our kids with scripture usually pointing to scriptures about how the man is the head of the house and the woman is to submit in all things. When I don't agree with my husband my 10 year old will say now mom dad has the final say. He is in charge of you. I feel unheard, manipulated, and controlled. And my worry is that my children are going to do to their wives what is happening to me. I feel trapped and don't know how to handle this biblically.

This is so good.. I have a question: if the behaviour of the spouse is not changing despite of the measures, reminders you already did, what else can one do? Or when is the time to stop reminding? When is the time to let go of one's standard and just live with it?
