One time IBM Croatia owed my firm over $500k for IT contractors. 105 days late. Eventually I had a main board Director on the phone. The most professional man I’ve ever come across. The US put pressure on Croatia and the invoice paid a week later. Phew. Sometimes it isn’t the $6 or $7k ones, but the ones that will kill you. One thing they can’t stand are email chains with CC. And I add another more senior contact every time there is a stall. Eventually it clicks that this entire email chain is embarrassing (as well as evidence) and it gets paid. They ALL are never a client again. I also have blind CC’d the CEO in with a comment of “Attached for your high interest as you watch your employees act in ways that senior executives never would. I’m not asking for your direct involvement yet as I’m sure this will be eventually solved with much effort, however, some of your suppliers are of strategic importance to you, so this email chain will be of crucial importance to see which of your employees are less than honest with important suppliers. Etc

This happens with many PM companies. They deal with and often choose very small operations. Then they think they can push them around because the person is just the pressure washer, painter, landscaper, etc. I’ve met my share of Donny’s and Aaron’s. They are quickly intimidated when a professional operation comes for them and calls them out. It’s no longer about the money at this point. It’s rare that I don’t sniff these douche bags out but some get through. These days if they get an attitude and/or lie I just get my attorney to follow up. This obviously eats away at most or all the money but I don’t care. I know their balls are in a vice at that point. I go home and sip my bourbon with a smile. “You’ll never be doing business with our company, again!” 😂😂😂😂 ok

If I was power washing company I let every power washing company know demand payment right away half upfront and last payment when job is done or don't do business with donney at this company. You have video proof of what type guy he is. I would send this to hq as well. What going do sue you because he lost his job or destroyed his company. If no payment is made at 45 days a letter will be sent saying at 60 a lein will be put on your company and interest will start.

You were gonna find dishonest people in every industry, and every walk of life, so don’t allow that to be your excuse for not starting a pressure washing business. If I was to take this to court, I would not pay a single penny because A. I had a contract in place which they agreed to, B. the work was completed and documented with QuoteIQ Cam and C. Because I had everything else in place, I would not be responsible for the legal fees, my attorney would include that in the cost, so not only will they pay for their own attorney, they will pay for mine. Because that’s what dirtbags get when they fuck with the wrong person.
