In case you're curious, YES I've seen the Halloween 2018 trailer; • I like the look of Myers, looks like what Rob Zombie was trying to do, without making it overly decayed. • I dig that they played off Laurie being Michael's sister as just a rumor and not actual fact. Worked for the sequel, but for this I think it's great and will add another element of mystique to Mikey. • I think Laurie being obsessed with Myers for all these years and now being a more ready version of Loomis will be interesting to see. • Like that Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Castle and John Carpenter are all returning in one way or another. • Seems to me like they're REALLY trying to make a great, true sequel that will give closure to Laurie better than H20 could.

Two things: 1. I think the reason Michael doesnt kill Busta is because he decided to let him be a costumed Michael Myers decoy. I honestly feel like Michael was being strategic there. 2. I hate how the guy to whom Michael gives the knife references Michael's kills from 1978, and then references the kills from Part 2 by saying "..same night." Like, he literally references the fact that those kills were in a sequel for absolutely no reason.

WHY DID HE RESPOND IMMEDIATELY WHEN LAURIE CALLED HIM MICHAEL?! Bonus Round: 9. When Laurie tries to remove Michael's mask to make sure its him A. He tried to chase her up the stairs with a knife and attack her in her bed. HOW WOULD IT NOT BE HIM?! 10. SHE HASN'T SEEN MICHAEL'S FACE IN OVER 20 YEARS AND SHE ONLY SAW IT FOR A FEW SECONDS SO HOW WOULD SHE KNOW IF IT WAS MICHAEL?! 11. The movie takes place after the events of Home On The Range. Oh, and one last thing before I forget, the Killing off of Laurie Strode, I think it's time the fanbase soften on it for two reasons. First, Jamie Lee Curtis would go on to give us three decent Halloween films and a great ending to her character. And second, even if that wasn't the case, anyone could just ignore this film and pretend that H20 was the finally to THIS version of the character.

I just finished watching the movie. My dad was making a lot of Busta Rhymes jokes.. it wasn’t very scary but we had a lot of fun at the cheesiness (with the music, sound effects, and acting). I hated that “oh, some totally indestructible dude who is apparently mute super conveniently by Myers who is super dumb” and “Laurie gets killed by her sworn enemy. In the first like 15 minutes. And she wasn’t being very smart about it.” I did liked the setting and atmosphere and how the movie was fun instead of scary or something else. I also like the 2 phone texts sent by the guy watching the filming. Not the approach they went but got.. my dad and I agreed the movie was really cheesy and silly. The plot was bad for a Halloween movie and the music and sound was executed badly. Busta Rhymes was an awful choice and the movie felt like a cartoon sometimes. I quite liked it a bit because it’s cheesy and hilarious but I don’t like it as a Halloween film. These are all my opinions. Also, after watching Halloween 5, my dad searched for some reviews and found you. After he stopped in the middle of the video, I searched the channel up and loved your content! Keep it up

I don't have it in myself to trash Halloween: Resurrection. I still put this movie over Halloween 5 and Curse. I'd also rather watch this over both the trash Rob Zombie films that precede it and quite possibly Ends. At least this film doesn't take itself seriously. Heck, the way I see it, us Halloween fans got off easy. This isn't nearly as bad as say, "Freddy's Dead" or "Seed of Chucky" or well MOST of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Wrong Turn franchises.

I'm probably the only Halloween fan that actually likes "Halloween resurrection". Yeah it has problems, but they don't make me reach to the point where the movie is God awful like some other horror movies like "Jason goes to hell", "Freddy's dead: the final nightmare", or God help you "Texas chainsaw massacre: the next generation". Halloween resurrection, to me, doesn't fall in that category. It's just, OK but not great. But at least watchable. This is just my opinion of it. Like I said, I'm probably the only person that actually LIKES Halloween resurrection. But hey, that's just me.

Curtis was actually going to leave the production weeks before filming until Williamson came up with the paramedic storyline, and Curtis agreed on a condition that no footage be shown to show that another sequel would be made and the audience would believe Micheal was dead until a sequel was made. So H2O was never intended to be the last Halloween.

Thanks for your last response on Halloween 3. As far as Halloween Ends, I feel I have to say this ahead of time, I'm in the perfect middle. I like the movie, but I see both sides to why people like it and why people don't like it, but there's actually people that say that Ends id worse than Resurrection and I strongly beg to differ. Halloween Ends is better than a few Halloween movies if you want the truth. Resurrection is the worst and there's nothing about it that I like, but perhaps the most offensive thing is how they promoted Jamie Lee Curtis as being a big character by having her on the cover and etc only to kill her off right away. Wasn't a fan of H2O, but that is the official ending to that timeline. Resurrection doesn't exist.

The discourse of Halloween Ends has been EXTREMELY fascinating to me, as both a longtime fan of the series and film in general. The simple truth is that the Halloween franchise is a convoluted mess and hasn't had a narrative through-line since the second film, and even then it was whipped up in a drunken haze. I'm in the "I like what Halloween Ends did and enjoy seeing how mad that answer makes Halloween fans" camp and whenever I get around to my full review I'll try and articulate my opinion in a more consumable way. I was thrilled to see them at least attempting something different. The Corey Cunningham and Michael Myers Sideshow will be a sequel/finale that won't be forgotten or swept under the rug anytime soon... Thanks again for watching!

Glad I did. Basically to me it's the true remake of Christine. Everything just screams Christine practically. Basically besides the small throwbacks to the other Halloween movies, like Corey standing over the stairs looking down with a knife after he accidentally killed that little brat and how it looked like how the 78 Michael looks on a lot of the posters and the way Corey was staring up at Laurie from outside, but aside from little throwbacks like that, to me it's mostly influenced by Season of the Witch and Christine especially.
