Bah, you're nitpicking. He's saying exoskeleton because the exoskeleton is the fundamental difference between regular buildings and these skyscrapers. He could have thrown out what bundling it is called though.

Instead of being covered by cladding or other surface materials, exoskeleton showcases the technical aspects of the building by putting them on display. Putting the structural elements towards the external part of a highrise building is a structural system called "Framed Tube," of which Sears Tower has 9 framed tubes, making up its bundled tube system.
