Congestion pricing U-turn draws praise - and anger

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s decision to put the congestion pricing plan for New York City on an “indefinite pause” has sparked strong reactions, ranging from relief to rage. Despite her previous statements praising congestion pricing, Hochul said Wednesday that implementation of the plan could lead to too many “unintended consequences.”
