That's the thing with a narsacist system, their greed is always their inevitable undoing. No amount of control or exploitation is ever enough for long. They'll squeeze more and more because that's their nature. Not to be happy, not be satisfied, but in pursuit of more because enough is never enough until it's nothing at all.

This squeeze always hits disabled people first and it's hitting us hard. My best friend, at only 27 years old, is currently filing for bankruptcy and feels trapped in an ocean of debt because he is not physically capable of working the amount that the machine demands of him. I personally am financially comfortable, but am working so hard that I barely have the capacity to care for myself. As they squeeze us tighter and tighter, please look out for the disabled people in your community first.

I honestly believe the squeeze has been tightening over the years. TikTok gave Americans the well-needed breather, but since now that it'll be gone on Sunday...well, the people will be squeezed, but that squeeze will be so tight thanks to trump's policies, we'll end up popping

Having an algorithm that doesn't filter/censor based on American interests is unallowable to them anymore. I also think about the squeezing part, disabled people do get squeezed and "pop" and we're told that it's just the cost of doing business/some people are going to fall by the wayside.

@@Toastcat890 One step at a time my friend, but keep an eye on the objective. Currently labor is getting more militant and while baristas and amazon workers are fighting for progress dock workers seem to have given some encouraging results. Let enough people get to where the issues aren't food clothing and shelter, but workers on the boards of directors and people only willing to "wish luck" may want on board. The ONLY thing that assures failure is giving up.

So, I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, yes, I completely agree that this was an extraordinarily draconian move ...one that was likely passed to further our oppression. On the other, I am legit worried about China's new carrier that will support 50,000 drones. It launched yesterday, and I think we are actually gonna end up fighting those guys over Taiwan in less than 5 years. We may have been giving our near-future enemies our most intimate data, reaching far beyond anything the NSA can collect on the people of China to balance the strategic scales. I just don't know how to feel about this. These are confusing times.

@ Does that mean we're assuming the intelligence committees were knowingly pumping out 100% bullshit propaganda? I can see them doing this 'for national security purposes'. Their rationale could be that TikTok (though likely not 'spying' for the CCP at the moment) was depriving the industrial complex of workers to make shells and bandages. That is still equally sick and terrible, and makes my body hurt all over.
