They don't just show up to the inauguration, they party together. There are pictures of the Clintons with their arms around the Trumps. Trump was at Chelsea's wedding, and the Clintons were at some of the Trump kids' weddings. That is just one easy example. Kamala let corporate polluters get away with terrible crimes and did not help regular people when she had the opportunity to do so as DA. As George Carlin said, "It's a big club, and you ain't in it." But the elites from both parties are in it, and they are laughing at how easy it is to dupe the masses by making a show over social issues. They are laughing all the way to the bank!

As you say: Don't fall for false optimism. We have to prepare for bad times. That is actually strategic: if we reduce debt we aren't paying interest to banks. If we grow our own food we aren't giving money to Kroger. If we reduce subscriptions we aren't funding big companies (one example Adobe: use open source software, it does the same stuff). Minimizing driving keeps money out of big energy's pockets. The only language these folks understand is dollars. Honestly, if there was a one week spending fast by everyone who doesn't want this regime, it would make a huge difference in bargaining power. A consumer's union, if you will.

Hook up artists with law students and journalists to make printable flyers with catchy coded language (such as using Bible language to turn Christians against evil government). You people with platforms can broadcast names of organizations, or other creators who are teaching. You as a platform need to be getting people to send you information that you can broadcast and give us viewers some direction. The legacy Democrats have been catering to the oligarchy, just like the Republicans have, only promoting a slightly more compassionate center-right approach with the same corruption with insider trading. What I think we need is a multifaceted approach, including spreading awareness of voting interference in swing states, supporting the young Democrats and other left-oriented populists like AOC, Jasmine Crockett and Bernie Sanders and those who are forming coalitions with them, building local community networks for mutual aid and offline organization, and learning from our black and indigenous cousins to organize together. They have the experience and expertise, and we need to provide the support to make sure civil disobedience reaches and organized and effective 3.5% or more of the population to have the best chance of success. It's a lot. But we can do it if we network and remain adaptable.
