Been a while since i been in the Coniston area but i remember going with my dad many years ago walking up Coniston Old Man & mooching around the quarry spoils...😊 the drone has added an extra dimension to things & ya captured some terrific footage on this particular walk..in fact its showing how much more used to manoeuvring it you've become 😂 gotta say I'm still waiting for my 'the world is coming to an end' alert 🤔🤔🤔🤔maybe its happened & I'm living in another dimension 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Lovef the finale as Tracey was waving bye 👋 excellent vlog Andy with you Tracey & of course last but not least The Rockstar 🐶🐕👍

A favourite area of mine, lots of family still in and around Coniston. I generally go up from Torver these days... won't pay to park up on the fell. High Pike How area is where Dr Darbishires lad Stephen saw...and photographed a flying saucer! Back in the early 60's... made the national newspapers at the time!🤔 A great area for a Bank Holiday, nae folk up there!! Good view of Broughton Moor quarry from the summit, my Uncle Ray worked there in the 60's... Superb video Andy, TFS cheers Alistair 👍 Ps...I opted out of that warning crap!🤔😲🤣

The write up on the description had my interest straight off, That flooded quarry , What a location though, absolutely stunning, drone footage was all on point to, really enjoyed this mate, Love all these summits you find, just got back from a camp on High Snockrigg and it didn’t disappoint 🤜🤛

What a great place to explore Dave Bannishead Quarry was amazing what a great place to fly the drone over...talking about the drone mate I was checking it's flight log the other day and since I got it back in June it's flown 150 mile WOW I found that amazing...what a great la'al piece of technology. I absolutely love me drone Dave my favourite bit of kit and now I've that much flight miles lots more experience....everything that could go wrong in the first few weeks with the Drone did do including a night out on a Mountain by itself lost (lol long story very much inexperience by a miracle I found it next day ) I'm a lot more confident in sorting a flight problem out now...the real nemesis is wind DRONES HATE WIND 🙄
