Hey! Thank you so much for the review. This is the director of the movie and I really enjoyed this haha. Your critiques are pretty much the same as mine. We made this as a fun lil thing as an outside project at our school and had no idea how it would go. It’s crazy to see a real review of it. So now that we’re making the sequel (thank you for the shoutout) and have an actual budget that’s not basically zero dollars we hope to improve a lot!!

My favorite Spider-Man fan films of all time: 1.Spider-Man Cake Day 2. Spider-Man Saga(SixSidesStudios) 3. Marvel Knights Spider-Man 4. Spider-Man Eclipse 5. Miles: A Spider-Man Story 6. Spider-Man Hunted 7. Spider-Man Lives: A Miles Morales Story Spider-Man is kinda pretty boring but the CGI was sick, also don't forget there was a upcoming awesome fanfilm is Spider-Man Convergence and Spider-Man and The Monsters of Manhattan i'm so excited

I highly recommend watching the mirrorbrothers productions fan films! ‘Spider-Man 4: The Cold Day in Hell’ is one of the most entertaining films I’ve ever watched! Also they made an amazing Luke Cage film

I do production sound for film and video, and even in professional productions, sound is often an afterthought. At least they usually have the budget for ADR, though still way cheaper to do it right on set! I would have lav’d them up, and maybe shot some coverage and use the dialog from their closeups where I can get the boom in real close.

You should do a video on the mirror brothers, they made one called Spider-Man the Cold Day in Hell and their fan films are really weird, but kinda good in a weird way

I cannot recommend you watch Spider-Man the cold day in hell enough! It’s so funny dude you won’t know what to do with yourself lol! Also the guys that made it have like a whole cinematic universe named after the creator of the channel! It’s such a rabbit hole! Great video by the way! I’ve been waiting for a channel like yours to start talking about these fan films! They are so interesting!

I would highly recommend Spider-Man: Eclipse. It's such a well-done short film with some nice cinematography and fight choreography.

I do a lot of fan film reviews on my channel and I would suggest watching Spider-Man prom night. It’s almost a year old and doesn’t have the best VFX or anything but the acting and story in my opinion are very good.

If you haven’t watched anything by Mirror Brothers Productions yet then you are missing out! They have like 8 films in total covering multiple marvel characters but their film Spider-Man 4: The Cold Day in Hell is definitely their most entertaining so far! It’s absolutely insane and the effects are something else to say the least! Would love to see you cover it in the future!

If you're looking for better Spiderman fan films that Lotus I would recomend Spiderman: Power and Responsibility by The Lonely Spider or the duology of Spiderman: Best of Enemies and Spiderman: Dead No More by Buckeye Studios. All of them are fantastic watches

It's funny you mention the mistake Lotus made with it looking Spider-Man killing those Shocker goons in the beginning by not showing them still alive by a shot of them being tied up...
