CT has a long history of manufacturing textiles, gun parts, precision machinery, aircraft, and gerneral hand tools. The whole state made a shift into buiesness headquarters / office work. Maybe a mix of the ivy league schools and politics played a big part. This left a big hole for the underprivileged and with the social issues in these cumunities you can see where it lead. Social media is giving them eyes they never had befor. Im really sad seeing this becuase years ago, these were my friends that are either dead or in jail. Nobody cares about CT so CT does care. The cops are likely aware of this, & know these kids are more likely to flip when faced with hard time vs those who have a record/in deep. The reckless driving is absolutely a risk, but if letting the kids off leaves breadcrumbs to gang activity or organized crime, I wouldn't put it past 12 to play the slow game, esp if they suspect them of using the cars to carry out more serious offenses.
