Connecting A Bulk Reef Supply Dual Reactor To A Manifold and Makeover

In this video I will go over how to connect your Bulk Reef Supply Dual Reactor to a manifold. I will show you how to connect the reactor to a saltwater aquarium plumbing manifold and show you the correct plumbing fitting to get the job done. After hooking this up to my aquarium sump, I will then show you what I did to paint the Bulk Reef Reactor to make my Neptune Systems Apex color theme.

I am truly impressed with how well thought out your sump set up is, i wish i had the patience to do stuff like that lol. I'm also really impressed with the channel overall. Hi Gil use a “P” touch labeler with white tape and rename the CARBON and GFO cartridges this way you don’t have to remember. Nice set up I too suffer from OCD and have painted all my fittings and what ever pieces of equipment I can get away with....🤣🤣🤣

Hey Gil great video as usual reactor looks great as does the entire theme. Being that my current 75 gallon used and leftover parts build is about 3 weeks behind your build I was wondering what light cycle/schedule you are running on your tank at this point... Thank you

Thanks Retro. I don't have a light cycle yet. Because Im dealing with some green hair algae, I only have the lights on for 4 hours. I would have the tank dark 24-7 but I have an anemone in there now. Once I get some SPS, Ill start playing with the lights.

I tried it but it was way too crammed and would have been a pain removing it to replace the media. I'll fix it in the future though. Doesn't really bother me as much as I thought it would.

Surprised you didn't ask BRS to send a new sticker since the one on it is not straight. Seriously though it looks great. Once you get everything running you should do a video of the whole room the reef is in. I'd be curious to see how it's decorated if you put this much effort into what is under your tank.

Lol, I clean it A LOT. But when I get lazy, I also collect detritus and coralline. I added a mj1200 pump to last stage to help w detritus and help with mixing my Alk and ca.
