I still have them even though they were pulled out of production. On top of that, Nordictrack is buying them back because supposedly they're dangerous. If you don't treat them bad they will last long. The only annoying thing is Ec code. It comes back after recalibration right away

What happens if the power goes out? do these have a battery backup to be able to adjust the weights or do they have to be plugged in to work all of the time?

Not bad for the price at all. Not sure how I feel about the long-term wear and tear on the digital and mechanical parts in the base and dumbbell though. I have the Nuobell dumbbells and have been extremely happy with them, plus they max out at 80lbs. Also, great reviews keep it up!

I was thinking the same thing about the electronics, they seem pretty cool but what if electronics are damaged or stop functioning, how do you supposed to adjust the weights then?

thanks! The whole electronic locking mechanism seems relatively simple so not a ton of moving parts to break down (certainly such less than a Bike, Tread, or something like Tonal). But I imagine it could certainly happen. I would hope that if something did go wrong, that you could get a replacement base for it (iFIT is generally pretty good about allowing you ti buy replacement parts for older products). But that is a fair concern about buying tech equipment like this vs others.

I have a set of these and they repeatedly fall apart while using them and NordicTrack will not allow me to return them. I sent video evidence and they still refused. All companies have defects but its the way a company resolve the issues that sets them apart.

I love the JaxJox. But I have a Proform Bike with IFIT, so I am so salty that I don't have these to work with the IFIT app. I can imagine how well it would track all of my performance, especially when doing the cross training series. And the time it takes for JaxJox to change IS annoying at times. Also a friend of mine just copped these off of Amazon maybe a week ago for $299... Side note, I hate him now.LOL!! Great review on these, If there's another price drop I may just get them and sell the JaxJox.

Nice review. Have you had problems with the 50lb setting snagging on the tray? I picked up a pair of these and that was the only issue I have. Otherwise I love them! They work so well with the flick of the dial. I also purchased an adjustable angled welding table from Harbor Freight that works so well for a stand for ease of use.

I see what you mean about the setting it with the 50lbs being loaded. I've been pretty careful with it so haven't had any issues yet, but definitely have to focus more than with 45lbs and lighter

@@ConnectTheWatts For sure. Thanks for the reply. I only really have occasional problems when pulling out the 50’s from the tray, and the tray would move around, but no issues putting them back in. I just placed some 16lb velcro command strips to secure the tray to my stand. Works like a charm.

They work great you just have to make sure they line up right when you dock them. Never used the wifi feature. @@gavinwright9934

Mine would work by the knob, I didn’t download the app. But now I can’t them to change weights and have to push down the lock manyally, will try the app, but if that doesn’t work I hope I can return.
