*I miss this McGregor so much! He movement was so free, effortless and like a flow state.* He needs to revitalise himself, by switching between this style and being light on his feet, instead of sitting on his shots. Ever since he’s been “boxing heavy” his striking has gotten worse.

I am Chinese, and I had learned Chinese Martial Art since I was young. One expert of probably Bruce Lee level had shown me this noodle arm moves, he explained that this move helps relax and open your shoulder and elbow joints, so when you make a punch, more of your body's force could be transfer through your arm.

Too bad none of that psuedo bs worked inside the boxing ring... he got the snot beat out of him, literally. He was hitting so lightly in there so it clearly didn't work

I always find it so weird that I’m coming up with these new approaches and trying things out and then I watch it on yt an expert advising to actually do the same thing. Not that I find myself somehow outstanding in this case but it is really weird. Like I just play around with my body in many different ways and some things seem to be working then I’m watching or hearing about it from a mouth of a professional and I somehow feel like they still want to keep their secrets. I don’t know what to think about it.
@jangwa20003 жыл бұрын
@@MrErnieHanks How is it that none of that pseudo bs worked inside the boxing ring? Wasn't he throwing loose punches? Mcgregor has a deep understanding of biomechanics. Of course he lost against Mayweather, of course. They were boxing. Are you saying he should've won because of that exercise in order to prove that it works? It does. It's a good way of loosening up your shoulder and arms joints. It's about relaxation. It feels great.

I'm surprised that Terence or any boxers made fun of this. Shoulder snap is one of the most important body mechanics that we have in our punch.

People hatin right now on the man. Everyone thats know fighting, knows connor is a genius fighter , unique style, master striker. I hope he will come back , humbleness makes people stronger.he is learning his way.
@cpilfold4203 жыл бұрын
@Terran kinda did. The first 7 rounds were close. Floyd obviously took over after Conor got tired, but Conor definitely had a good showing for himself. Which virtually every high level boxer who was present during and afterwards also agreed with. Conor even won the 8th round on the official scorecards. There’s a narrative that Floyd carried him which is just horse shit. If it were true then it would be yelled From the mountain tops by most high level boxers and fighters. Conor simply did much better then anyone realizes and what he said here is something few mma fighters actually know.
@cpilfold4203 жыл бұрын
@Terran He did indeed. Eventually. Floyd took him into deep water and drowned him. However, the context of the fight, particularly in the first 7 rounds prior to Conor gassing, it was a highly competitive fight.

I always wondered why amateurs mocked this movement? This is nothing new, in my boxing gym we were doing it from early 00’. McGregor only made it popular. Edit: People watch Gracie documentary „Choke”.
