Hey bro, I'm a new skater too, just started about 1-2 months ago and I can give you some tips about stuff I see youre doing. 2:45, 2 things here I notice 1. 4:37 When you pick up your skateboard, learn some pick up tricks instead of bending down to get it, it's actually very easy to learn and get used too, just takes practice. I remember constantly not getting it, and then I figured it out. Its just the right amount of pressure. Try pushing down on the tail of the board as hard a possible flinging it up in the air, and then do it lightly, and then find the middle ground to make it come right to you. 2. When you're pushing, try not to do rapid small pushes to try and go faster, try slowing down and doing bigger stronger pushes like you see pro skaters do, this will help you balance and make your skating look better. Make sure when you push your feet are positioned correctly. The pushing foot should push IN front of you and not to the side, like a scooter. Like when you step to push make sure your foot is on the same level as your other foot and not behind you, this helps you get a better push and better balance and stability, Also be light on your feet and lean into the push. If you practice riding with one foot you will get way better. And make sure when you're done pushing bring your foot back to the correct position which is the backfoot sideways and the front foot facing forward, you got the front foot position down as seen at 5:58, just fix the backfoot. Another good thing youre doing is not looking at your feet while you skate which is good because its making you more comfortable on your board. 4:34 Another example, instead of 4 rapid pushes like that it should've been 2 big ones and you would've gone the same speed or even faster, if you push too much like that you will get tired. Also relax your hands 😂 5:11 Literally I tried going down steps and I ate the ground and hurt my hip, I did some studying and when you're going down curbs and steps you have to do a sort of mini manual which is just lifting the front of your board in the air as it goes down, you wanna keep your skateboard leveled so it doesn't tip over like it happened to us. So think of it as a mini wheelie off a skateboard, Also a wheelie in skateboarding is called a manual. I think that's all the tips I got for you, my names Abu I'm 16 and from philly nice to meet you bro.
