I appreciate you giving a counterpoint to the pros of relocating to Reno. I love my home state but I am tired of constant struggles like work and crime. Atleast in Reno there maybe more opportunities for myself to become gainfully employed. I have been thinking about a relocation to your town for about 3 years now. Thank you 🤔❤🇺🇸

I left Reno 16 years ago. At that time it was turning from my beloved hometown “biggest little city” into something unrecognizable. California was moving in rapidly and changing it, unsurprisingly, for the worse.

What has the experience been like with wildfires and smoke from wildfires?
@LivinginRenoNevada Жыл бұрын
Great question. This previous year the smoke and wildfires were non existent. The previous year the smoke was terrible. Due to the snow/moisture this year we are anticipating a mild fire season.

@@LivinginRenoNevada Thank you. I hope that the fire season this year is mild!

No mention of the hellacious windstorms? Seriously. How do you fail to warn people?
@LivinginRenoNevada Жыл бұрын
You are right at times Robert. We mention wind storms in majority of our vidoes. It really depends on where you at, but wind is a son of a gun at times and we should have mentioned it.

@@LivinginRenoNevada …. I’ve lived in Reno and in Susanville. I now live in a windy locale. But not a windy as Reno gets!
@joehanich8195 Жыл бұрын
@@Idahoguy10157 There are days that wind you out. Recently I had trees fall into my neighbor's yard and it's been a huge pain in the ass, but the wind is few and far. That being said, just know the wind should be on your mind.

I haven’t been back to Reno since they closed hairs that was one of my favorite casinos. Besides the Fitzgerald’s no Renos die in town it’s not worth going to other than for the bike rally. They have a spring run and fall right now the rest of it just not for me.

I've been here for 7 months. It wasn't my intention to stay permanently and I'm leaving soon. But to me It feels like a dark depressing place (Dark not literally) But yeah I'm not a fan

I'm curious where you're from Anthony? I'm in San Diego now which is known for being a bright sunny place and I plan to leave soon.
