I've been out here for just about 10 years, I thing that still amazes me how you can send a very clear message to your dispatcher, and they obviously don't read the entire message, and completely misunderstand what you were trying to tell them?

Hey Pino, I hear you talking about the fuel discount. Have you heard of the open roads app? Seriously, I'm paying $4.30 vs $5/g usually with their card. Get it set up man. I just want to you save more money!!! I don't care about the referral they pay. Running 3400 miles a week at 8mpg, you'd save $300/week in fuel. It's an EFS card you can use at T/A, which is the cheapest buy far.....

I actually use the NASTC fuel card now and I save a ton on diesel with that card . I appreciate you looking out man I will still look into open roads. I use Mudflap as well

@@hptrucklines5367 I just did my first week and I'm PROFITING on the fuel service charge. 👍 57cpm mile and I'm getting at least 10mpg running Target out of Galesburg with $4.30/g is 43cpm fuel cost out of pocket. Still profit 4cpm after the 10cpm maintenance charge. What was the final purchase process like after the last lease payment?

Did you have a balloon payment at the end of your lease? And do they let you pay the truck off early. I’m trying to do what you did, Get in and out of there. Pay the truck off as quick as possible.

Yeah they do mines was about 7000 my maintenance account covered about 4000 of it . Yeah you can make extra payments or higher payments to pay the truck off earlier if you would like from what I was told when I was there

I work for rti now freight is down but I only sat really once in almost a year over here that week I sat was half do to weather wy Winter sucks but got on the phone told dispatch hey I don't want to have to find a new job but bills to pay since then I barely get a 34 stay running if they don't have freight my dispatcher finds me trailer movements or truck pick ups I hate truck pickups but money is money

You can't recap at RTI.. the dispatchers tell you everything to do. They tell u when to do a 34 and when to do a PM on lease purchase. I felt like a company Driver paying for my fuel. You don't have control of your money. I'm at Landstar running myself off the load board and calling all the shots like a BOSS. OWNER OPERATOR 4REAL!!!!

I've sat on a load with still having 5-hour drive time left and delivery was scheduled to being delivered at 12 the next day with RTI lease purchase is a big scam and ripoff you are working to pay truck note and fuel cost and sit more than your rolling I just turned my truck in today i asked could I drop down a company driver so that I could have Revenue and they told me no that I would have to wait 90 days so I quit today

I own my truck so it actually worked for me buddy . It isn’t the best overall decision sure I agree . I dedicated myself to completing the 18 month lease I signed and I did it . I don’t work for RTI anymore onto a better opportunity

Rti is very cheap, sad truth is there so cheap they put unsafe trucks on the road, Trucks with seeious mechanical problems...Because they refuse to listen to the driver...Very very bad mechanic and maintnance...Believe this guy dead serious...DOT reading this you might wanna check theee trucks all im saying ty
