Absolutely didn’t add any value to my knowledge. She started with giving data on public health Spanish flue and death rate, life expectancy followed by blowing her own trumpets like she came from a family well educated docs and then she won some beauty peagent in Aussies because her dream was to be in fashion ? Make up ? No one told her to come to Aussie from UK for higher education .. that was her own conscious decision. And then she turned the entire talk on so much generic and “zen guru” loaded talk about positivity and ideas of 80hr vs 80yrs of life span, activity that could be done ? And first thing she said was what shopping and meeting people ? Really ? M not sure … doesn’t TED talk scan the candidates before they deliver ? I always thought TED talks are given by subject matter expert, isn’t that the idea of giving the platform to those to has exclusively excelled in their own respected field maybe it STEM or Manufacturing or Financial ideas. Not sure I learned or gained any information of this last 18 mins talks. 🤔 huh !
