I bought my PS4 4 years ago during black friday, didn't open it until Christmas day, I was scared it was going to be a shitshow of me waiting for installs and updates, day comes, I'm on my third coffee and already boozed up, I unbox my brand new PS4, I hook it up, skip the connect to the internet stuff, pop in my Bloodborne disc. And it all worked. Like a christmas miracle I got the absolutely classic console experience of just connecting the console and playing right away with no install times. @11:06 funny you mention that. Here’s how my dad got my family a Wii; He was a cop in NYC and he got dispatched to a huge fight in GameStop. People were fighting over the few Wii’s they had. The store owner was so desperate and scared, he offered my dad a Wii and a couple games if he could get everyone out. We got Wii sports, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Cars. Shit was fun

I actually think the Vita has one of the strongest launches in history in terms of the amount of quality games. TWENTY FIVE GAMES including: A new Uncharted, Super Stardust, Hot Shots Golf, WipeOut 2048 and excellent handheld versions of MLB 12 The Show, Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Rayman Origins. It was as diverse and varied as something like the Dreamcast launch where every single type of game had a quality option. Plus the thing was just incredibly impressive to see running in 2012, mind blowing for a handheld.
