I actually played both versions and the SNES version is worse because the controls are just very bad, and the loading times are ridiculous. It took me 5 minutes just to toss a batarang and it takes (forever) to go from one room to another...

I didn't expect much from either game, but the Sega Genesis game looks really solid all-around. Holy crap is the Super Nintendo one awful, though, between the odd cutscenes and the high-pitched instruments. That's more of what I was expecting from a Home Alone 2 game.

Yeah, I remember you mentioning in the livestream for this episode that you actually like the Genesis version. I've never played either one, but I agree that the Genesis one doesn't look THAT bad. I was so frustrated mashing buttons that I accidentally inputted the invincibility cheat!!! What a crazy game!!

Did you know that both the SNES and Genesis had the game Daze Before Xmas?
