If you’re referring to the library of Alexandria. We actually still have roughly 90% of the texts from the library through copies or versions held in other libraries around the world. And even then most lost texts were mainly caused by entropy of the paper/papyrus of which they were written on, not just one event.

I really love how the entire premise of pyramid conspiracy theories is based upon the asumption that ancient people were not able build them with the tools that they had, even though it's been proven again and again that they definitely could have, specially considering that construction for the pyramids took decades each.

white blood cell transfusions won’t make your body think you have an infection. it’s quite the opposite, actually. they’re rarely done because there’s no proof that it changes the length of time you have an infection/virus. most doctors prefer to use colony-stimulating factors or growth factors to help a patient’s own blood produce more white blood cells

Just wanted to add onto here the civilisation doesn’t always evolve and often goes backwards due to lose knowledge. I studied ancient history and our ancestors had mannnyyy advanced technology that we didn’t rediscover until years later. The Romans had hot and cold spa rooms, working sewers ( which England didn’t even properly have up until like 100 something years ago) they built one of the first working dams too. Egypt was a central part of education in philosophy, maths, astronomy etc. The Greeks, Persians were known to be amazing mathematics. The incans had some of the best arecholgical builds too, indigenous people had peace working cities, trade, culture religion all of it was a sparking hub thousands of years ago. Also if you just use logic - of course there are no records of why or how the pyramids were built. War, famine, slavery, death all of these cause so much knowledge to be lost. The library of Alexandria a prime example of this. So just because we don’t know how it was done, doesn’t mean it couldn’t be 🤷🏻‍♀️

I take an anthropology class in university. i’ve always been sooo interested in the pyramids and how they were built, but one of my teachers mentioned the fact that doubting the people living in Egypt’s abilities of creating the pyramids had some racially problematic undertones. he brought this up when the conspiracy theory of aliens building the pyramids came up in class because people were so doubtful and unwilling to believe that Egyptians had the knowledge or ability to do so. there were some really smart people at this time!! i know it doesn’t really explain much but i think it’s important to think about

The ancient Egyptians were EXTREMELY advanced, in medicine, math, and astronomy. A lot of people overlook this and immediately jump to aliens due to the impressive height and complexity of the pyramids, but considering that the pharaohs are the people’s gods, its understandable why people would build them. The pyramids where mausoleums for the pharaohs. Many religions build churches, temples, statues for their gods. The pyramids are just that, and considering their advances in astronomy and geometry along with the people’s want to worship and be accepted by the pharaoh and their luck in geography(the Nile at this time was calm and safe and made their lands fertile allowing them to worry about other tasks instead of food and shipbuilding. Throughout history when food supply is stable, more advancements are made. Think of the scientific revolution, food had become stable and it allowed them to focus on science instead) the pyramids become more understandable in why they were built and how. There are many theories on how, and many scientist have proven that it is possible.
@kasper6188
@kasper6188 3 жыл бұрын
This is all true except for the fact that they ware not mausoleums atleast not used ones... and we can guess on weather or not it was even built for their gods. It seems likely, but there is no real evidence of it. Oh, and the Egyptians ware more than extremely advanced its hard to even comprehend how a man made structure can be the tallest on earth for almost 4000 years (don't take this the wrong way I'm not suggesting it was aliens just stating how crazy of a strukture it really is)

Honestly I think they were smarter than us. With all of our technology we don’t even have to retain information because we can gain access to information at anytime. We go to school but how many times do we throw subject matter out of our heads right after a test. People back then actually had to retain the information they learned and could call upon their memory at anytime. Plus they probably had more of a focus on education because they had less distractions. We are constantly distracted by entertainment and social media among other distractions. I assume they were also motivated to create technological and educational advancements because they had less answers than we do. The world was even more of a mystery to them than it is to us so my theory is they spent a lot of time trying to advance with technology, knowledge, and advance as a society.

Also, pyramids are the easier shape to build up, and that's why it appears repeatedly throughout history in different locations and configurations, as some sort of natural development in new civilizations. Also, isn't that hard to figure it out where the equator is, especially to people that depend on observing the seasons to plant crops and to farm animals. For the pyramid didn’t they have pulley systems and such to help lift the bricks? Sure it wouldn’t be as advanced as it is now but surely that would explain how they got stuff to those heights? Not only that I’m sure they could’ve also had some scaffolding too, if you can make safe scaffolding out of bamboo I’m sure there’s were some decent materials they could’ve found and used too. Idk pyramids to me seem like they can explained pretty easily. Not to mention back then it wasn’t barren deserts either so there might’ve been materials it resources we wouldn’t think of that they could’ve used

@Rynnie ignoring the fact that time frames are really hard to work out since some people argue that they could have had chariots as early as 2600bc, as well as potters wheels. Due to a lot of colonialist ransacking its kinda hard to piece together all of their history. So ignoring that. Egypt was known to have started trading with other powers as LATE as 3000bc. And the creation of the pyramids coincided with a ton of other inventions made around the same time. It was their cultural Renaissance. They weren't isolationist at this point in history. And ignoring all that as well. You can make a pully system with a rope and a log. Honestly you can use a brick if you smooth out the edges some. They were already using logs(a lot like wheels) to move the bricks they used for the pyramids, they had mastered "logs can roll" technology bare minimum. They also are known to have used ramps and levers often in their construction. But you're right, just because Mesopotamia invented the wheel in 3500bc (at the latest) that doesn't mean that Egypt, who they often traded with at that time, would have also had access to the wheel as technology.

Oh my God it's so funny and amazing for me to know that when it comes to things related to biology you don't have the slightest idea and at the same time if you make me narrate a story I won't remember half of the facts, nor know how to tell the story, I'm going to tell the end at the beginning and the beginning in the middle and then get all mixed up. I find it amazing how everyone has their gifts and his specialties, I just wanted to comment on that. Your channel is my favorite to see this type of stories. About the Cynthia case: Think about this: Only someone who knew her would call her cindy, so it is probably someone who directly knew her or talked to her. Since it was stated that she felt insecure about the graffiti is not a boyfriend, because well it is not logical. The only way to stage that kind of kidnapping is only by knowing the building itself, and because it was locked from the inside only someone who was already in the place or outside and had an identical key could have entered and lock it from the inside and someone who was already familiar with the place and everything in general. Since she seemed to knew the guy, (statistically it is always a guy), she probably wouldn´t have been surprised to see him inside the place, so we can by logic say that she felt secure when she entered the room, she was reading a book, I think it is a coincidene the fact that she was reading that. The kidnapper probably used a certain chemical so it was easier to just do what he had to do. That is why there wasn´t any sign of struggle. Now, what is weird is the fact that she recieved several calls in which she clearly didn´t recognised the voice by the testimony of that client, Larry Mullins, so that is what probably is against my theory, but think about this, if the kidnapper is intelligent enough the person could have used a gadget or something to like distort the voice, or someone else working with the kidnapper. So with all of this, I think it is someone inside her circle or near her social circle who planned this. Probably someone who is used to go to the building. I don´t believe it was someone from the office since it was stated that the lawyers who worked in the office were all at court that morning. So yeah it is probably the maintenance guy, and also the initals correlate with G.W. But I believe he had help, again probably someone related with the building. Plus, think about this, the kidnapper needed to know her routine to do this. So, no, I don´t believe she just run away. Anyways, don´t listen to me bye. The police could have done more.

I agree! And also, think about this… he is a maintenance worker, so he would most likely have all the equipment to spray paint the message “I Love Cindy.” Then he would continue to do it again after they removed it. And if you think about it… they gave her that emergency button in case she needed help so the maintenance guy probably knew that that button was there so he figured he must kidnap her BEFORE she enters the building, so she wouldn’t press that button. Someone had to have known her routine and schedule in order to kidnap her. The maintenance guy being at a doctors appointment the same day she was kidnapped. Like cmon what are the odds of that happening. The maintenance workers always have access to everything in the building, so he had to have known the building like the back of his hand…

It makes sense to choose the shape of a pyramid for a structure so enormous. It would be beneficial if you were building it from the inside. It also eliminates the need to form some type of roof over a structure so big. Also, the Egyptians were all about aesthetics and it just looks better than a big rectangle building in the desert.

We are always the “saviors” in wars and bring civility to all of the dirty evil communists. The kind of public education we are taught also differs geographically. From state to state and county to county are individual school systems and the people who decide what makes up the corse syllabus for every subject and every grade. We were also “taught” the same shit when it came to history over and over again just very basic stuff. Most of us aren’t even taught government and definitely not civics unless you earn really good grades, or your wealthy and getting privately educated or you seek a higher education in college. I went to public school in the 90’s and early 2000’s so I have no knowledge of what is taught now but I’m betting not much has changed.
