Thank you for this video, I learnt about Parliament Sovereignty, I also learnt about adding honey to my browser for free codes and that I can prepay for my funeral with the cooperative funeral services.

What would be political and legal limits on parliamentary sovereignty?
@boizeebaikalokoh56342 жыл бұрын
Why can't a Parliament repeal any Act it has passed in the grant of Independence of a state? Any particular reason for that?
@TheLawSimplified2 жыл бұрын
Hi Boizee. Legally, they can. However, Parliamentary Sovereignty extends only within the jurisdiction it is established and not beyond. Therefore, while it's possible to repeal an Act which granted independence, there's no obligation on the State it relates to, to succumb to another State's authority.

So, there are no constitutional limitations on the powers of British Parliament. ???

That’s right Judge is immunity But a man/ woman is liable for their actions or none actions to another man/woman Wrongdoer ( not Defendant ) Man/woman Name Title Address ( not P.O. Box)

Parliament gets its power through consent of the people. The man or woman are sovereign, not parliament. They just like to think they are!

+MATT C True. After all, Parliament works on the mandate of the people.

Ithink you will find the constitution of UK is written in magna carter bill of rights and is upheld by the queens oath, therefore parliament has not unlimited power but is under constraint by the coronation oath ,,, also when a person is elected to parliament the people do not surrender power to them but in fact its opposite they do the bidding of the people, or supposed too.
@TheLawSimplified9 жыл бұрын
Electronicpoacher1 Hi. That's a very valid argument and a great way to look at it. I suppose the whole premise that is being considered here is that of the "Social Contract" :)

Parliament does not make lore (law) it only Makes Acts , codes, states, for the man /woman acting as legal persons in that society That’s if you wish to be governed by something?? Man,woman make lore (law) of the land That which is proper to the people of that shire

It's written with spells. As you get into it you get lost in the spell. Study study study then it will be a little clearer, but you will still have more questions. It's a spell.

Unfortunately, a below-average video: Any loud music should be prohibited on an educational video (unless, of course, it's a music-related video lecture). So, any jingle, let alone a loud one, is a no-no and a distraction. Furthermore, the audio on this video is not loud enough to hear the lecture without overstraining oneself. Otherwise, I would have given this video 4 stars out of 5, rather than 2. Sorry!
