Mine has a Navy Blue interior and it's nice. I purchased using the Costco Auto Buyers service and got a really good deal well below MSRP. I saved $2800 and did not may a market adjustment fee.

+1 for having that second middle seat for total of 8 passenger capacity. In minivans, I don't understand the trend for second row captains chairs, encouraging/empowering backseat drivers (kidding, not kidding).

I think "MPV" stands for multi-purpose vehicle. "Multi-passenger" would be pretty silly because even a little Corolla seats 5.

There are really only two good choices for minivans these days. You either get a Toyota Sienna or the Kia Carnival. The other are not competitive.

Will Kia carnival be introducing an AWD option in the future? Also, in cold-weather regions like Indiana, Chicago, Minnesota, would it be problematic not to have AWD? Can you provide some guidance?

The carnival proves that there is a market for SUVs with sliding doors. I would love sliding doors on mid to large size SUVs of all sorts- not just minivans. I just don’t trust the Kia powertrain to last 250k miles although it has the 100k drivetrain warranty which is why I chose the Sienna. Hyundai/Kia needs to copy the A25A-FXS Toyota engine which is a reliable engineering marvel. I’d love a Tesla X with sliding doors and getting rid of the problematic falcon wings. I’d love luxury choices with sliding doors.

These videos are pretty inaccurate with regard to color. All the videos I saw of my eventual car showed a muddy gray interior. In person, it was a beautiful jet black, which is what I wanted.

This is a minivan, not a sports car. Not sure why you need a bigger engine.

​@@chili-rye123doesn't need to be a sports car, but it's nice if a vehicle loaded with people and stuff still has enough power to merge on the highway or pass on a one lane road. The other concern is durability. A tiny engine on a larger vehicle had to work harder to move that mass than a larger engine. It could potentially shorten the lifespan of the engine.

Image the people who survived car ownership and car travel without a single cup holder. I have a Honda Fit and I have 3 front cupholders. The cupholder to the left of the steering wheel holds my cell phone holder. The 2 center cupholders hold my toll change and candy. I rarely, if ever, had a drink while driving.

No AWD option is a deal breaker for most consumers in the northern latitudes. An Electric shift on demand AWD system would be a welcome option.

Sorry, you need to teach children to buckle up themselves. My mother did when I was a child, and I am now 60. The first thing I do when entering any vehicle is to buckle up, whether I am the driver, front or rear passenger.
