During transit the ship drawned in the sea and the container lost due to some natural calamities. In this case who will suffer loss and how will the exporter get his balance amount?

In case of FOB, the title of Goods and the risk after loading onto vessels goes to Buyer. Hence, It is Buyer responsibility to take Insurance coverage. As the vessel has drowned, still the Buyer can claim material value as per the Bill of Lading from the Shipping Line. Apart, Buyer is obligated to pay Seller the pending amount. In case, Buyer do not pay, seller can approach the proper appleate authority against buyer as per the contract in International Court. Beside, Seller must always take credit insurance for such cases to recover his money.
