It breaks my heart to know that there are still people who would look at Silas (shown here) and Nikai and only see monsters. Meanwhile, I see a noble wolf, crying out to the rest of the world how his kind are so horribly mistreated and misunderstood. We must protect these beautiful wolves, everyone - we need them just as much as they need us.

That's why I hate fairytales and folklore. I even have a strong hatred with werewolf movies because of those sick monsters that would harm these creatures God gave us. Have you ever read the story of God's creations, and the Devil's? It gives wolves a positive light.

​​@@rorschach1848 I suggest you do some research. Have you never heard of shock induced analgesia? Look it up. Animals killed by humans suffer more greatly. If there were no predators the prey animals would face worse deaths by disease and ultimately starvation. Balance is necessary. Yellowstone is a great example. It was dying before wolves were re-introduced.

One came thru here couple days ago. It was big. I said "hi!" and it sped up a little to the highest spot and stopped and turned only its head and looked straight at me for about 7 seconds then kept going. Wow I'll never forget it. l just thought of this part, I was so disgusted and sad by the videos of the wolf pup being tortured and killed in the news, that in honor of the pup, I bought a bunch of shirts with wolves and their pups on them on temu, that look just like her and have been wearing them every day. 😭 Then this wolf came😭

So lucky to have wolves..it's my dream to own a pup and grow with him but the sad thing is I can't even see a wolf :C Recently I've been so obsessed with wolves because they are soo cute and also they are very loyal which I really need since I can't trust anyone tbh.

As amazing as it may seem... A wolf as a pet, or companion, isn't necessarily a good idea, and in my opinion you should only "own" one if you are rescuing them. They are wild animals after all, a human household won't be their ideal place. Even low content wolfdogs don't do well in human households most of the time, lacking the proper care from the owner because the owner doesn't understand their "language"... They usually resort to euthanization because there aren't enough sanctuaries out there to care for them. Now, that's not to say it's impossible to have a wolf / wolfdog as your best friend - some people live that life, but most can't handle it for various reasons, even if they think they can. Sad to say... Ouch, I made a text wall, didn't I? Sorry about that, I'm a liiittle passionate on this subject as you may see... I used to be just like that, I always wanted a wolfdog as a pet, but after doing hours of research daily, then eventually meeting a few in person, I realized it's not a good idea, just for the sake of the animal itself. I would only go for it if it was a rescue! Breeding wolfdogs is kind of sad as most of the breeders are very unethical, so I don't really support that.
