Former optician here. Being a negative nine and negative ten is easily corrected to 20/20 with contacts. If he can get contacts, then he can work just fine.

Some people, like myself, simply cannot stand the feeling of something foreign in my eyes. I tried contacts once, my eyes were still watering for a half hour after the optician put them in, my right eye was turning red, and irritated. The phrase "You'll get used to it after a while" is absolutely unacceptable as any type of solution.

The first defendant had been robbing cars and houses for 17 years, had dozens of arrests and convictions, was out on parole, and was still committing more of the same type of thefts. And for every burglary where he was caught, he committed many others without getting caught. He should never have been free.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine while vacationing in San Francisco. His laptop and other items were stolen out of his car while he was sleeping in it. (Road trip) he used the Find My app to trace it back to a location. he knocked on the door and said I don’t wanna hang you up I just want my stuff back. They told him to get bent so he got the cops involved when they showed up he hit the button to make them play a sound, and what do you know, sound came out of their car. The cops located his items in the car. Then they ran the plates and it was stolen. So they gave him back his stuff. And then arrested the guy for Possession of a stolen vehicle.

That is exactly what I gained from the testimony. She had filed the Contempt Action against him but because they cant find the dead beat dad to serve him, it cant be heard and that's crazy. Don't understand how the judge can make her leave when he says that no one has legal ownership or title of the house nor does anyone have any authority over that house to allow her to stay. If the court system plans to continue to have these Zoom Courts then they should take the necessary steps that would allow someone to be served when they log into the online court system by having to download or view any court papers filed against them that are relevant to a that case.

I do understand his point of being back in his home so he can shower, have clean clothes proper hygiene for work. She is a single mom and can get assistance, put kid in school an get a job. She has to put 50%, he isn’t responsible for her. Shes had 6mos to get assistance or wk n save up. She gets a job gets out, let him back in his house so he has no excuse why he cant wk and pay cs. She can’trely 100% on cs. His few hundred isn’t going to be enough. So if she thinking that him paying is going to get her out, it won’t. She’s got to get a job. He obviously worked paying that mortgage for +3yrs looks like a nice house just by that high ceiling/railing you can tell what type of home it is. So she needs to get assistance move out, get a job so he can get back to his life where he did wk. so there’s no more excuses. She obviously wants to live in a cushy home, not wk and be supported but being single🤔 but still want him to support her. Sounds like it wouldnt be different living on section 8, way less nice im sure. Lets say he pays support, she would be living off his support(too many women do) bc she ain’t going to work. When you split, you BOTH have to work and do your part.
@aim4dabush891
@aim4dabush891 Жыл бұрын
@kimberlylozano2881 agreed she needs to contribute too. But I don't think you were listening to what was going on. She isn't asking for child support to live off of. She is asking for child support for daycare expenses so she can get a job and work. She also said she has interviews coming up. I get there are women who try to live off of child support. But if you actually listen to what is happening, then you can see that it's not the case. He hasn't even spent time with his child in 3 months. Nobody is stopping him from going home except him. This whole homeless thing is an act. In his mind, it is an excuse not to be a father. If he cared that much, he would pay his court ordered obligations and spend time with his son. Both of which he doesn't do.
@Quarky.me719

@@kimberlylozano2881you clearly weren’t listening- at all. &; he should be helping to take care of his child- period. He’s paid nothing. I’ve been homeless before I cleaned up my act- now, I work full time with two children under age 4. If it weren’t for my mother I’d be screwed- period. &; before I had my job .. assistance actually BARELY covers a thing. I received 500 cash assistance a month. 300 in food stamps a month. And that was it. There’s a ton of stipulations for childcare and bc of covid things have waiting lists. AGAIN, if I didn’t have my mother.. I’d be screwed and wouldn’t be able to work full time. She is trying. People are so ignorant and think assistance is a ton of money, etc. the loudness of you on your high horse shaped soapbox matches the height of your ignorance.

@@kimberlylozano2881that is not completely true. I raised my child and never got a dime in support. I also got absolutely no help whatsoever. Had to work 3 and 4 jobs to pay rent, food, clothes and child care. I had to pay over $700 a week because I needed two shifts for child care. I was told that I made too much money in order to get help because they look at what you made and not what you have to pay out.

I do not know why people describe Job as “patient”. He wasn’t. He bitterly judged and complained about God’s failure to protect himself from Satan’s machinations. Job felt he “deserved” God’s blessings for being a pious and righteous man. A patient man doesn’t take the position that God owes him anything.

Everyone says the judge is great but to my mind he’s making a “Parenting 101” mistake - threatening punishment without following through. He threatens the guy with 2 or 3 different outcomes if he interrupts again, but the guy keeps interrupting and receives none of the punishments - bottom line is that the guy learns nothing and will argue as much or more the next time he is in court. Though upon further thought I kinda can’t blame the judge for not terminating this hearing and resetting it for a future date - who would want to go through all of this a second time if the guy hasn’t learned his lesson????? Maybe a contempt fine with follow through would have been a better punishment threat!

This was very educational, it is true. The legal discussion of this within the court was fascinating. It is great to hear judges, cops, lawyers doing their job, making argument-counter-argument. Really enjoyable case. Great job by both lawyers. The defense lawyer did a great job trying to pick apart what appeared at first to be an open and shut case.
