This is an updated version of this tutorial for the latest version of Adobe Captivate 2019. I also prefer this version because it's a simpler tutorial for folks to understand.

I would like to animate a picture. Is there a video that shows that. I saw somewhere that one can make a photo of an object and make it change directions. BTW your videos have been a God-send! I am doing this for work and want to really impress my supervisor :)

I don't know if I have a video for specifically what you are asking but this concept is close - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zquse2Sea8Zgqq8

These are updates and variations to your previous methods are great! Another awesome video! Thank you. Question: Is it possible to nest a carousel within a carousel?
@CaptivateTeacher3 жыл бұрын
I suppose it is. Your sub-buttons would have to be a hidden object and not part of the multi-state object. You would also need to be a gluten for punishment because there would be many things to keep track of.

@@CaptivateTeacher Thank you for the reply, Mr. Wilson. Yeah, this current project definitely feels like punishment lol. Based on some of your methods from other videos, I was attempting to do this the way you just described. And you’re absolutely right, the nested carousel seems like a lot to keep up with. I’ll continue to try and find a more simplistic approach. Thanks again!

@@CaptivateTeacher Thank you, Mr. Wilson. I took a simpler, linear approach for now just to get the project to the content review stage. Once we get the changes back and start finalizing, I may throw the nested carousel feature in, at which time I will contact you. First, I will need to make a mock slide so you and I are on the same page and you can see exactly what I’m attempting. Thank you again for your help!

Hi Paul, in Captivate 2019, how does one convert an image on a slide to a thumbnail that can be enlarged on clicking or mouseover? I have looked for an answer on your channel and the internet, but haven't really found a method. Maybe I am asking the wrong question.... The same workflow is VERY simple in Articulate, where you click on a large image, drag it down to the thumbnail size and use the the 'Zoom Picture' option. Is there an equivalent workflow in Captivate?
