Can't get enough about the different cultivars of Celeste Trees, Some fig catalogs lead you to believe they are so common and un-interesting that they tend to push other brands, so thanks for the truth about how great the different types of Celestes are!! Hi Lou, if you’re are having problems with nematodes in the one spot, may I suggest a method that seems to work best. When you decide to put a tree in the ground, dig out a very large hole , large enough to hold 8 bags of compost to plant your fig tree in. You will see no problem with nematodes. Every year you will need to top dress the tree with 2 or 3 bags in the spring. You will see this works. I did this with a friends tree that lives in New Jersey near the shore. After a couple years having problems with other trees, he dug up all of his trees removed the dirt and used neem oil to treat for nematodes and then replanted them in compost and hasn’t had any issues since. That was about 13 years ago. Just a suggestion, for what it’s worth 😊

It has been 39 degrees celsius for 2 weeks here and it didn t rain at all from the 10 of July... now it s 17 of August..no rain the next week either ..fml it s a sauna here😢

Hey Lou - sorry I am replying to content from a different video, but I cant find the other one right now. It was recent. I dont know the best way to contact you, so I will try right here. You mentioned you love your LSU tiger. Do you like it more than regular Tiger Panache? I got very lucky in the supermarket yesterday and after touching 10 lbs of figs, I was able to walk away with 4 amazing pounds of ripe figs. Never happened before. Usually it is 1 out of 10 or 15. But the tiger panache (I believe it was) was SOO GOOD. I never had a ripened tiger. So please tell me if LSU tiger is better. Also, what's that celeste tree you LOVE LOVE. I know you love them all, but which is the variety you keep saying you love above the rest? And how do I buy it? Can I purchase from you directly? I'll pay whatever you want Thanks as always.
