Well I can't have children, that is just a reality. Perhaps I shall adopt some day. I would never lie about being transsexual. I am proud of my male origin, it is a massive part of who I am.

I often remind people that the 'trans' in 'transgender' or 'transsexual' does not mean transitioning between genders/sexes. The prefix trans is used throughout science to convey that two things are not the same. In the case of transsexual, it means that my gender assigned at birth is not the same at my gender identity. The opposite of trans is 'cis'. Therefore a cis-female is the term I usually use to describe a woman who's assigned gender matches their gender identity.

I'm very much enjoying these videos, I find them educational and thought provoking. At the end of the day, people can tell you not to get the surgery as much as they want, but the important thing is how you feel about it yourself. I am really interested in how you put your eyebrows on. I saw Michael James put them on and they were so natural looking with a feather effect. He did mention your name and so I looked you up. I wasn't able to distinguish the name of these products you used for your main line and then filling in the feathery effect. Could you please send me back a response with the name of the creamer eyeliners and the particular brushes you used. Are these brushes and creamers sold in the United States, and at what stores? I've noticed that since beginning transition that there has been an overall positive change in you. You're obviously happier now. Do what makes you happy and feel complete. If that means FFS, do it. It's not about what the rest of the world wants, it's about you and what will ultimately make you feel like yourself.

I think the worry that some people have concerning your FFS is that they don't want /anything/ to happen to that lovely face of yours. I think we do understand the reasons why though, we will just miss your old face for a little bit before we realise how stunning you look with FFS.

@iFauxPas I don't know if you noticed, but I did put a later comment saying it was about perception. I'm thinking back to the original new romantic/goth days; if you went to a club like Slimelight it was very difficult to tell who was male or female. It was very much a thing about breaking gender stereotypes. I would probably say Sphirex was female, but the whole look is unconventional and breaks boundaries. But then that in itself affects others' perceptions. What I mean is that, dressed as she does now, heightens the perception of femininity. But without make-up and in a tweed suit, the gender boundaries wouldn't be blurred. It's all part of a whole, and why I basically it doesn't matter HOW beautiful and feminine outsiders think she is, it's what SHE sees and how she perceives that, which matters.

Syn, I really like how you turn a lot in this video and the one prior, it giving me a lot of angles on your facial profile. You're right, about saying you're more of a -1 and not completely anything +, and can see the drive you have to want to be more Female. Me being a male, and a 0, although I strive to be around the more female-androgynous -2, I do want to stay in that category where males have to make up their mind and females come to like what I've done with my own body.

I love your discussion. I agree we can all benefit from FFS if we are m2f. I agree we are all seeing to be recognized as a woman. I want to get FFS myself and anyone I've told I want to do this is quite discouraging of doing it. I don't know their fear. My fear is not having successful surgeries and actually having problems with results of FFS. Do I go to Thailand, Mexico, Europe, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Fran etc. Who can do the best job with the least scarring and most positive results?

Natal. Of or relating to the place or time of one's birth. What Syn is saying is an adjective to describe what she will be vs what a woman born a woman is. Having a good vocabulary can help you understand that she's not using a term that's commonly used. She's using a term that's exact and a lot simpler than saying "Women born as women". Natal woman is a lot easier than say woman born as a woman.

I actually totally understand why you want to have FFS surgery. Sure, any surgery has it's risks, but if the surgery will help (In whatever situaation) then people should go for it. Personally, I can see vy looking at you that you are male, but you're a very beautiful male, and I get makeup can do a lot for helping disguise masculine features. Most people have not had to go as far as you seemingly must with make up to pass. The daily application is not only a chore but a restriction of your freedom. Wanting to make the effects you achieve with make up permanent is only natural. You've distinguished that the effects you are going for are not an illusion but a correction to your physical identity. Not getting FFS wouldn't really be an option from then way you've presented this. xx
