Just done the Pv course with Gavin. Got to say the guy is a legend and literally the best tutor I’ve ever had. Thoroughly recommend these guys 🍻👍🏻

Hi mate, great video. How are you using your extension lead, can you explain the steps please? Cheers

Clearly explained, good video mate. Just two points to mention 1) GS38 doesn’t relate to the test instrument it only requires that the test leads are of an adequate length and the there is no more than 4mm maximum ideally 2mm of exposed tips. (2) when you null the test leads you are not removing the resistance of the leads as such , the MFT takes a reading of the leads resistance and a deducts it from the test , . The test lead and any conductor will always have a resistance . But a good demonstration and video 👍

What's the maximum acceptable reading for this test?
@UniversalSkillsGroup3 жыл бұрын
The reading should not exceed 0.05 ohms. The reading would vary depending on the length of the bonding conductor.

Can you make a video playlist of all the dead tests please

Hi Ebrahim, we recently uploaded a new video on our channel talking through the testing procedures! That explains some of the dead tests.
