I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

You have to realise, that everything costs energy. Collecting plastic, transporting, burning, every step of the way. Where is this energy coming from? If you turn plastic into fuel, congrats, you've done nothing to prevent pollution. Now, the whole process depending on the types of plastics, can produce toxic chemicals. Those need to be extracted or fuel will be an even worse pollutant than it already is - that means extra energy consumption. This is not environmentally friendly and isn't sustainable. Even if every step is done with renewables (point, which we are far from). Some projects from environmental standpoint should be forgotten until every step can be done with renewables or nuclear and only when we have an excess of such energy (looking at prices, we don't).

One good thing to think about is that, now that you have a closed, continuous feed system, it is a viable decision to revert to a shatter auger system for the main reactor. Far easier to plan and build and provides the structural rigidity you need to feed the plastic throughout.

Very awsome work. You can add a catalyst to help break up the plastic into smaller fuel molecules. The cleaving catalyst is made of CaO 50% Fe2O3 30% TiO2 15% and CuO 5%. The iron and copper turn to metals to keep the polymer from reforming while the oxygen in the CaO and TiO2 do the actual cleaving. For the second step react the distillate with hydrogen using either nickel or a iron titanium hydride ( you can get both for free out of dead NiMH batteries ❤)

I have this feeling that if the plastic was liquidized first you could seal/continuosly feed it better, cos high preassure veicular pumps become an option, or plastic molding ingectors, etc... Idk , im gona do some experiments if i can get a low enough viscosity on the plastic, if i can dissolve it on oils or the pyro petrol produssed from the machine itself. I know some plastics just dissolve very easy like styro.

I got a question how do you purify the exhaust gases that come from the plastic when burned, it's illegal to throw plastic on an open fire due to the toxins released into the air, you may want to find a way maybe someone in the comments might know how to do so. I just found you so I don't know if you've covered this in a past video.

Just an idea but how about feeding with a hopper and auger at the bottom like a pellet stove. More direct feed with close proximity should lessen the chance for oxygen getting in .😊
