I actually find the Lorac way easier to work with than the Anastasia palette. Yes, it's more pigmented (a little goes a long way) but the colors are very flattering and easy to blend. And it comes with a good brush!

Yup waayy better, i like it better than my kvd palette too. Just some people don't know how to work with it yet, it is just so pigmented you need much less product and with the other ones you get used to using so much, so that is what i think happened to tati.

I don't know if this would help anyone but I actually started with Anastasia's palette. I found that I had to really dig into the powders (especially the lighter ones) to get any color on my skin. My skin tone is medium. I then went to Lorac and I absolutely love it! I agree, there is a lot of pigment, but I honestly prefer that. I use fluffier brushes and apply with a light hand. I feel like it takes me less time and I get the results I'm looking for. I haven't tried the KVD palette mainly because it's bulky and I travel a lot. I hope this helps! Love you Tati!

The problem with the Anastasia Palette the powder is dry, stiff, and takes time to blend and the highlight shades do nothing if you are very fair. While the shades in the Lorac palette are very buttery, soft, smooth, and easy to blend and the highlight shades are great for fair- skinned people. LORAC by far is my favorite contour palette.

I haven't tried any of the other contour palettes ( don't see why I need so many palettes), I bought the lorac one based on reviews and I really really like it. I'm NC30 with yellow undertonesUsed it few days ago and got compliments from my husband hehe. I love all the shades except the deep contour as that one is really dark.

KVD products are so amazing. The only thing I'm not s fan of are her studded lipsticks, but her liquid to matte lipsticks are amazing! My favorite. Her palletes and single shadows are such good quality and have amazing color and staying power.

I have all three palettes and I absolutely prefer the Lorac one. The colors blend beautifully for me. Also, it comes with a great brush. I use the brush with the darker contour colors and it works perfectly. Makes the palette an even better value.

I bought the lorac palette before you made this video and I personally like it. I agree the counter shades are almost too pigmented and can be difficult to blend, but I am quite fair and the highlight shades work great for me.

I purchased the Lorac pro pallets a few months ago. I'm very fair skinned and my skin is also dry. I have had no problems with the palette. I LOVE how bright the highlight shades are because I can actually see a difference on my skin! :)

I love using the KVD contour palette for eyeshadow, too. the pale peach shade is a perfect transition shade for fair skin tones, & all of the brown shades look great in the crease. though I will say that the highlight shades are really powdery, but blend well.

I have the ABH palette, and I like it a lot but I think it only works well if you have a very specific skin tone. For me, my skin is light enough that all the colors show up, but not so light that it looks like they won't blend. Personally I use the yellow highlight for setting my under eye concealer and the shimmery one on my cheeks and cupid's bow (I know a lot of people who don't like the color, but it's the perfect subtle highlight for me). Then I also the middle contour shade for contouring, the one of the left for bronzing (it's a little too warm to contour on my skin), and the far right one as eyeshadow.

TATI You have to try the loreal infallible pro-contour kit it's a perfect grey tone for sculpting it's amazing and the highlight is great too and I recommend using the ELF flat contour brush it's a match made in heaven

Okay for the fellow red heads and very pale people out there (cause compared to us Tati you are very tan lol), the Lorac Pro contour palette is amazing because the other palettes are wayyy too dark for us; plus, the highlight shades aren't light enough and just look like a regular face powder on our skin.

I just can never get on board with contour palettes. I don't need 3 different shades of powder, just 1! I know tons of people like them, so they obviously work for many. I prefer just single shadows. I have the lorac and the abh. I 100% prefer the lorac pro contour. Im pretty fair maybe that's why. I adore the yellow shade for setting my undereye area. Definitely not super crazy looking. Atleast on my skin.

I have the Lorac palette and I like it. I have light-to-medium skintone and I found the shades worked fine for me. My palette also came with a nice brush which helps justify the price of the palette. (However, I usually use my Charlotte Tilbury pointed brush as I do very subtle contouring.) You look so pretty with that brighter lipstick, love seeing you wear more color! And have you ever considered cutting your hair to collarbone length? It looks fabulous in this video at that length, really frames your face. XO

Thank you Tati!!! I felt like I was the only person who didn't like the Lorac PRO contour kit! I felt exactly the same way as you do! I don't know why they don't blend that easily which is really weird for Lorac PRO products. I agree with you 100% on your order of preference. I don't remember if you've tried the Marc Jacobs one before (I feel like you have, but can't remember), but if you haven't, their contour/highlight kit in Mirage is GORGEOUS!!! Blends beautifully and the colors in the kit are beautiful. I think you'd love it (IF you haven't tried it - I know there's a high chance you have but didn't mention it because of its price and it only has one contour and highlight). Love you so much!!!!

I'm late in on this video so I doubt Tati will see the comment, but I really enjoyed this! I like that she took three very popular ones, because sometimes when there's a ton of hype around a couple different brands of essentially the same thing (liquid lipsticks, highlighter, nude eyeshadow pallets... You get the idea) even if her top pick has a deal breaker for you in it, like not being able to remove the pans, you have the pros and cons of a few others that everyone is saying are all amazing and you never really hear why. I hope to see me of these tati! Especially with drag and traditionally professional makeup techniques like contouring or baking shooting into the mainstream and becoming and everyday "must"

The Aesthetica palette is a dupe for the Anastasia one. I think it performs even better plus it's cheaper and it has better ingredients. You can find it on Amazon! Sometimes Groupon will have it on sale and also Hautelook. Seriously worth the money.

Hi Tati! The Marc Jacobs is actually very nice (underrated) and only has two shades (banana and cool brown for our skin tone) in GIANT pans. The powders are soft and blend so nicely. You get almost the same amount of product in those two pans as you get in all 6 of the other 3 companies at about the same price which is worth it IMO because you will hit pan on a couple shades and waste the rest of the larger selection palettes unless you are a makeup artist. Also KVD is coming out with refillable contour palettes in 2016 for those who love hers.

The Lorac palette wasn't a favorite of mine either. It was the first contour palette I ever got when contouring first came out lol, I always felt like it was chalky and patchy. Kat von d however is my all time favorite!
