Recently learned from my mother, that my father used to play contra all the time with his friend back in 1987. He is gonna be surpised when i show him this game on the new switch we got.

Thank you soo much. I brought my grandson a switch and downloaded this game for myself and was very upset it didn’t look like the KZbin videos but I was playing the old one. Now I know these are different versions of the contra game and I’m falling in love with it all over again…

Ihate to say it. But I got the original game on snes. This version is just not the same.. I only played handeld but it really sucked. Good luck beating a game like this, like that. If anyone did tell me to fuck off and tell me how you felt

@@wrathpsp I think it might be that the switch controllers feels to flimsy and the screen small when you play it hand held. Gonns try again with my pro controller. But didn't feel good at all. Could barely get by the first level

In my opinion, Konami did not make the effort to atleast make it 1080p and or the choice to smooth graphics. Not even multiple saves nor Shattered Soldier. I rather make a donation to Emulator creators.

am i crazy or was shooting both your weapons in alien wars in the standing position a thing? Im not sure if i just misremember the game but it feels really weird not being able to do it in this port all you get is the spin in the air ;~;

The Konami code saved me from multiple headaches during my childhood and also saved my hundreds of dollars since I didn’t have to buy new controllers once I smashed them against the wall! 😂😂😂
