Mike is right! Back in the early 90s nothing was better than sitting on a couch and playing a video game with friends! Thank you for all the video game playing you do Mike!
@TheRetroGamerEnthusiast6 ай бұрын
That was peak gaming and it might never be the same. I surely played alone, but it was mostly something done with friends, a shared experience. Im 40 now and its just not enjoyable playing many games by myself, especially the shitty and difficult ones. But when you got a friend or two, or 500 in chat and Mike, it makes it fun. Sometimes, with your friends, the hardest and shittiest games can be the funnest! Thanks for the community Mike, except for that one guy, he can go fuck himself.

It's not 5 hours of Contra. It was 5 loops though.

Just looked and seems 14 loops is the highest I could find for Contra. The video footage on KZbin is Asian, and shows them dying on the last level. So almost 15!

I remember getting Bill & Ted for the NES and I loved the films, had both on VHS from a young age but man was I soo confused on what to do in that game lol I remember we even had the Game Genie, and FAQs with my dad trying to help me punch in these stupid phone numbers they could of made that game much more simplified, make it like a platform game and I'm sure anything would of turned out better than this but like with Festers Quest....for me but like Mr.Hyde, Dr.Jekell for the NES you have a love hate relationship with that's how I feel about those games and Friday The 13th lol

I just had the cart with no box or manual or anything and would pop it in every so often to see if I could get anywhere on it. Had forgotten about it mostly until the nerd episode and it blew my mind. No wonder it sucked so fucking bad. I do wonder where those treasure objects are right now though. Probably on the wall in some washed up executives finished basement.

Robobcop 2 is as trial and error and trolly as they come. This is right up Mike's alley as he is a glutton for punishment. The game was a guilty pleasure of mine at least once I got the platforming down; and the only reason I eventually beat it is because the levels are short and the continues are endless, thus keeping the frustration down a bit. I think Mike should add this to his resume of beaten games once he dedicates some streaming time to it ;)

Hey Mike, got an idea'r. There's a good amount of us that primarily catch the show either here on yt, or watch the replays on twitch. Some of us don't even have an actual twitch account. On my phone browser, I always have at least one tab on your twitch channel so I can occasionally pop it up and refresh it to see if there's a new stream. But when you take a break or vacation, it can slip from some people's minds. So the idea'r is, if you wanted to, you could make a youtube short or a community post when you're back. That way all of us without twitch accounts can know to head back over there. So you could just say something like "Hey everyone, took a little break there. But I'm back, and we're doin some Genesis games tonight!" And then all of us youtube poors can slink our way over to twitch, leaving our non-subscribing slug trail behind us.

Ok, the dying days of Family Matters where Steve would walk into the port-o-John & turn into Stephon… those were really bad…. Ok, maybe worse than Small Wonder. I think you may have considered me haha. You’ll never convince me that Tears of the Kingdom is bad though. That game is fantastic.
