i love the soundtrack to this game, it goes so hard... Congrats on yet another hitless game run, i used to love this game as a kid... this takes me back

This whole game is pretty great. When it comes to gameplay, level design, progression, music. It does it all well.

Super C is objectively the better contra. The level 6 boss with the 5 faces gave me nightmares

I didn’t play ether much growing up but really enjoyed both as an adult. They are both such well put together games. But if I had to choose I might pick Super C over the original as well. Thanks for watching

@slackanater6639 oh yeah. I'm not saying the OG contra is bad by any stretch. I started with Super C, it still ranks as one of my favorite games

Absolutely one of my favorite games ever and one I remember VERY VIVIDLY finishing for the first time without losing a life. I felt like a champ. As a gamedev I also take a lot of inspiration from this game's structure and pacing and how well it escalates its challenge. It's a game that just builds VERY well to its climax and feels huge by the end.

I agree the first two Contra games both are very well thought out in pacing and design. Not that many NES games were able to do that very well and I think that is one reason why these game were loved so much. Thanks for watching Polly

hord to tell which is horder. I was less familiar with this one so it felt horder but with practice i feel the are about the same hordness. Thanks for watching zero

Like most games at first glance or casual playthrough it does seem impossible. But with cafull routing and memorization these game can be beat flawlessly. I also help to play them over and over and over again for hours and hours😂thanks for watching

If you've ever wanted to know what it's like to climb a series of magically floating islands to the top of a 6 story tall train that you climb down to fight an alien spaceship covered in oversized human skulls before plunging into a giant pile of magenta colored shrimp, this is the video for you!! GG, never played this one but looks nice! I've been watching your Castlevania run, the levels seems to be pretty consistent except a few spots, what i found quite hard to do is the final boss Dracula, he usually spawn right on my position and from there i have like a millisecond to react, right or left depending where he is facing, so, im not sure if i can do that on an actual no dmg run everytime, maybe i should practice a bit more, who knows.

there are a few things you can do for Dracula. One, is pause the game as soon as he is appearing, there is a timing to it that is consistent. With the pause you have more time to decide which way to go. Two, you might notice that in my playthrough I stand in the same spot as he spawns this way I know exactly the spawns to look out for and where and how far to move. just some things to try. good luck!

@@slackanater6639 Yep i noticed you were going back and forth in the same spot but didnt know exactly what was going on lol Im aware about that pausing method too and honestly, it would be like cheating to me so, im not doing that, thanks for the tips! and good luck with your Ninja gaiden 2 and Battletoads!
