What is the relevance of CLRA in view of section 2(i) where person with wage more than Rs 500 per mensem is excluded from the purview. As Min wages arr mandatory, so under present circumstances, PE need not apply for registration and Contractor need not apply for License as both will not come under the purview. Kindly guide in this regard. Has any amendment/ruling come in this regard.

Dear Sir, as per my view, in the definition of workman under section 2 ( I ) ( B ) is applicable to SUPERVISOR who draws wages exceeding five hundred rupees and not applicable to all workmen. It means, wages is not criteria for other workmen. Please clarify.
