An important labour law for both employers and employees to know is the Minimum Wages Act of 1948. As per this Act, the Central and State Governments establish a minimum wage for payment to all employees. This law is enforced and monitored by the Labour Ministry of the respective states and centres.
Employees need to be aware of this law to know their rights and not be taken advantage of monetarily. On the other hand, employers need to be aware of this law to make sure they are not disregarding it. Since not following the law can lead to heavy penalties.

Reality is no employer follow this law. Why don't police arrest these employers. Why Modi never talk about wages, why there is no forced law of minimum wage. That is the only reason there is extreme poverty in India.

Jisko R,&D manegment thikedar kr dowara kam karwaya ja raha hai. Majduro ka wetan bahut kum hai. Hum majduro ka wetan 8 se 10 hujar rupay milta hai. Itne cum paise me ghar pariwar chalana aur aadi cheejo ko pura karna itne cum paise ghut ghut marne ke barabar hai.

Rishabh ji I am working as an unskilled employee under outsourcing in a Central Government organization where I get only 4 holidays in a month and none even on national festivals. no other allowance is available please guide Our PF is also deducted at Rs 15000

Main central railway main train announcer ka kam kar raha tha.is main maine 5 saal 1 mahina kam kiya tha, bad main muze company ne harrestment karke nikala aur resign likh ke liya.resign dena pada muze kyunki us company ke boss ne mera payment dene se inkar kiya tha...O bola ki resign de ,tab hi payment milega,to muze dena pada...To aap muze help kijiye,taki main us company par case file kar saku.please co-operate me
