NRG was never about the players, it was the 20 man coaching staff that got em that far last year

A little info about the "Bjergsen stare". Bjergsen is not angry at a teammate or anything like that. One of his teammates at the time, It was Doublelift who was pulled into a Mordekaiser ultimate and Bjergsen glanced over to see what was happening inside the ult. But people think he was giving one of his teammates the stink eye or something. I just wanted to clarify that. You can see it in this video at the very start. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYTWc3evf8SsnNk

Me too. So sad that such a big part of the current community seems to be never fans who have zero respect for him.

its honestly sad to see, i think an educated guess is that because of na lax culture, na teams are just going to be less discplined than korean teams, i came to this opinion because of how good nrg was last year at worlds, meaning they have a high ceiling, but discpline is the key to consistent performance imo. but then again i can be wrong, t1 this year looks worse than last year even though all the members are the same, they are human afterall so their performance fluctuates naturally. also the meta is different etc. many factors

What the hell are you going on about? Contractz little glance is a sign of lax culture?

what a crazy take, NRG was probably the lowest ceiling out of all the lcs champs. i'll always be a fan of contractz but that's because i like rooting for underdogs. NRG at their best was the story of a bad team that came together when it mattered and made a movie moment, key word being moment.
