Hamilton has indeed a lot of patience, he can be stuck behind a much slower car for dozens of laps and just wait till DRS suddenly works or his engine becomes extremely powerful again.

The driving style of slh44s is stronger vs the childish 1s. Notice that nonevof slh44s teammates hasvever said that slh44s driving style has caused the team he drives for to pursue a development path that makes it harder for slh44s teammates to drive the car. While the childish 1s driving style has caused red bull to pursue car developments(legal and illegal) that makes it increasingly harder for his teammates to drive the car. Several of the childish 1s teammates have said this even drivers who are adaptable.

This is very confusing to me. On one hand Hamilton should want the more pointy front end, because he doesn't want to understeer when braking and turning very late! On the other hand the later you brake the worse it is for your front tyres to manage it, so you want more help from the back end to relief the front tyre pressure. Verstappen on the other hand should want more stabble back end because he is braking earlier, so he doesn't have problem turning the car in the corner because he always has less corner speed than Hamilton....

In his early McLaren years and even his early Mercedes years Lewis used to setup his cars to be very on-the-nose and oversteery style. Problem was he used to hammer (pardon the pun) the rear tyres relative to his teammates. He’s adapted his style over the years to the demands of the thermal sensitive Pirelli’s. For example of his earlier style- watch the onboards of some of his quali laps in the McLaren i.e his pole lap at Silverstone 2007. How he didn’t spin is mind boggling.
