I had no idea that this was a fork of advanced slides. Great demo! It would be nice if this was merged into the main branch

Thanks for your interest in this video. I created another way to show slides in OBS. Please see the instructions on github github.com/UUoocl/Reveal-Electron-Player/

Hmm ... I had the same problem with transition, first it worked, then stopped I reinstalled the vault, and it worked again... Then I figured out that it does not work after I updated to Advanced slides 1.20.00

You’re right. The vault has code added to advanced slides. When the version of advanced slides changes, the additional code is removed. I want to rewrite this as a plug-in. I still need to learn how to do that.

This looks amazing but like @lesliecoelho I can't get it to change scenes in Mac or Windows.

@@uuoocl Thank you so much for sharing all your work, Jonathan. My use is for online instruction, so use the live features of OAS, and if I could get it to work as you demonstrate it would be super helpful. I'm seeing that reveal.js isn't doing anything with the scene change tags, so am hunting for documentation. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?
@uuoocl Жыл бұрын
That use case makes perfect sense. The scene change tags are just for this project. The OBS websocket js library is used to connect Reveal from OBS and send the commands. You can learn about that here. github.com/obs-websocket-community-projects/obs-websocket-js One way to see if the messages from Reveal js are being received by OBS is to view the OBS log files found in Help --> Log Files --> View current Log. Also in the WebSocket Server settings check "Enable Debug Logging". This will show if the connection is successful and when commands are received.

Ok thanks. I'm not getting scene changes working on your project either. But you clued me in to the fact that, correct me if I'm wrong, this isn't plug-and-play, has to be compiled per project until hopefully someone can build a plugin for OAS. Yes?

@@uuoocl I tried one more time before trashing your vault, and it worked on Windows. It may be just because I had two vaults open before, don't know. I'm happy. Thanks again.
