The secret to never sounding nervous in English? Control your voice.
Have you ever listened to a coworker or friend speak English, sounding perfectly confident - even though she felt nervous inside? How did she do it?
The key is to control your voice so you sound confident in English.
Controlling your voice and projecting confidence when you speak helps to engage your listeners and inspire trust.
Truthfully, we all feel nervous when we speak in public - whether it’s a formal presentation in front of 537 people or in a meeting room with 3 coworkers.
Despite that anxiety, there are 4 simple steps you can use to reduce the nervousness of your voice so you sound clear and in control. Ultimately, you'll learn how to sound confident when speaking English in this lesson on English voice training.

@@fathimaruzaiqa9489 Things go both ways. If you think ' I'm not good enough to stand onto the stage in front of my audience', then you need to fake it till make it. As a leader, I need to not only train a positive thought but also take more courage to stand up like a spearhead to lead a team or groups.

Annemarie the easiest way to Slow down the way you communicate is simple When you see something with immense Beauty The nervous system engages and takes in everything in your immediate environment Like for example when I see a sunset and see the sun slowly disappear below the horizon That is a wow moment your eyes are naturally fixated taking in the colours Maybe the sound of the waves rolling in on the shoreline Hearing the wildlife busy in their natural habitat The neurology naturally slows down Beauty is confidence naturally And beauty is everywhere as long as You open up the perceptual filters You can miss so much Thank you Annemarie

Some methods: - be prepared and organised: be familiar with your presentation before presenting it to the audience - body language: speak slowly and calmly. Eye contact... - focus on your message: on what you're saying - training: record yourself and watch it back. Present to some of your colleagues and get their feedback. Anxiety at the beginning is normal, you just need to experience it more and more in order to go forward
