Struggling to find good content on Loon in general, but yours are great. Would love to see more on cabinet wiring and in home installs! Keep up the great work

Hi Chris, I seen a list of driver on the Loxone database, therefore for the likes of a cinema room using a projector mentioned etc does this mean it will be work seamlessly on the Loxone app?
@beeautomation2 жыл бұрын
Yes it’ll work if the driver is set up correctly and the system programmed properly 🙂👍🏼

What procedures i have to make to be a Loxone partner?
@chrishampele1812 жыл бұрын
contact your local country Loxone Partner manager and get on a training course.

Do you do a lot of work on site? I'm interested in doing the programming and control panel wiring side of things, like you do at home. and secondly...are you hiring? 😂
@beeautomation2 жыл бұрын
I only really go to site to commission. The company I do contract work for is looking for installers in and around London.

@@beeautomation Seems perfect for me, I like the sound of doing the work at home then just going on site to install, just need to gain experience, if you could suggest some equipment that you think would be good to learn with, what would it be. Or a walkthrough video from start to finish from designing a panel right through to the programming and commissioning. Only if you think it would be worth the time of course. Haven’t looked into how to learn control4 but would I be able to learn it for free or do I need to pay?
@beeautomation2 жыл бұрын
@@pn8902 start with Loxone is you want to get into the industry. Lots of stuff on their website, free programming software to download and start playing with and the equipment is easy to get through a partner if you want to tinker. Control4 is harder to become a partner and the software isn’t freely available.

Something that stinks about Control4 is built in obsolescence. C4 have a history of dating products that then need to be completely replaced. Over the years I’ve had to ditch HC300, 800, 2 x 250’s, wall mounted screens and intercoms at many thousands if dollars. I know for a fact this is a strategy of theirs to ensure ongoing profit on jobs. It also is buggy, dropping off products etc. My system is C4 , KNX lighting ( which I would never do if I had my time over, KNX stinks) its great when it works, dont get me wrong, but bracing myself for my EA5 to stop working as this is their strategy. Also some drivers are terrible and require ir versions be made instead.

So your arguments are, if it comes easier for you to understand and install and program, loxone is better. Get it
@anikowoods21142 жыл бұрын
Your first point is ridiculous. C4 is way more sophisticated for automations - and only a newbie programmer wouldn't fully integrate with motion and/or voice commands. 🙄

Am I not entitled to my wrong opinion?
@chrishampele1812 жыл бұрын
no..
@anikowoods21142 жыл бұрын
@@chrishampele181 It can’t even integrate with video for proper cinema control. You simply can’t compare the levels of sophistication.
@chrishampele1812 жыл бұрын
And nor does it claim to even fit in that space 🙄 You are comparing apples and chocolate 🍫 This is a poor review which touches only on small amounts of functionality .. can Control4 control cia touch a kitchen surface - no - does that matter .. unlikely ..
