the rewasd config is up to date, but i will say the new steam updates have gotten rid of pretty much every major bug and i’m using it now. as for the edge i would say it’s worth every penny

Gyroscope for micro and precise adjustments, it simulates wrist aim and small movements made on a mouse. Also still being able to use thumbstick to aim...btw there in no gyro on XBOX controllers

It's good to start this way, yes. But very adept users gradually increase their sensitivity as they get more confident. Some use a high sensitivity and a big "precision zone" (which is basically a response curve to reduce slow movements even further, without being lossy). This gives them a really high dynamic range. They can turn like, 6x their real world rotation for big snap shots, but still have accurate aim when watching corners. CS2 is probably best combined with conventional stick aim because of generally lower movement speeds and generally more distant engagements resulting in less turning around. But for higher movement shooters like Apex and The Finals, FlickStick is great for rapid reorientation in CQC.

i’ve only had it since the end of november but I’m loving it. unlike other pro controllers you can bind the paddles independently, essentially adding 4 new binds not just putting a button in a different spot.

When I used reWASD I also maxed out the X sensitivity on right stick like you, now I use Steam Input and I've noticed that max sensitivity in SI is much lower than in reWASD. Have you had to adjust to that too?

Hii I also use gyro to play CS :3 I use the regular Dualsense. Does the Dualsense Edge have a better gyro or latency? Maybe a better polling rate? If it does I might look into one

as far as i’m aware the polling rate and latency are the same. the biggest difference is 4 independent paddles which can be remapped like any other button.

if you feel like you can’t improve on the sens you should definitely come down. if you think the sens is manageable then just find harder aim labs tasks or drills in the game. consistency is huge and i have a ~90 day streak on aim labs even if it’s just warming up some days. you don’t have to put in crazy hours just do the harder practice.

He's using mouse input on his gyro sensor, so tilting the controller gives him the accuracy of a mouse. He just uses the right stick for wide turns. There's a youtuber Getdunked who doesn't use the right stick at all and still manages pretty well with aiming with counter strike also.

@@Sam-zw2kp Xbox is the only console of the big three to not have it. My guess is that they still have PTSD from all the coping and seething from gamers back in the Wii and Kinect days. Gyro was always inside the PS4 controller but they only started inserting native gyro support like a few years agao and it's minimal. To my knowledge, Nintendo's Switch is the only console that has done the most support for their motion controls and gyro aim.
