My new 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth supposed to be arriving tomorrow, can't wait. This Apex 3 seems like a huge step backwards from the Apex 2, which was chock full of good features and extra buttons.

The 8bitdo Ultimate controller is a great solid option. I kind of think the same thing about the APEX 3 controller. Flydigi seem to prioritize cosmetic and more game immersion with this controller. I still think that Apex 2 is still the flagship controller for Flydigi.

Exactly. It only makes sense if you play a game that primarily uses the d-pad, and even then, we have to wait for reWASD support. It's useless until then.

Heya, you didn't get any jankiness with the force feedback software? I saw some reviewers had errors while trying to run the software with the games. I have a vader 3 pro and want to try this for some PC games.

I notice when certain games have updates it sometimes make the software no longer compatible like at one point RE4 remake was working fine but now that Ada Wong DLC came out, the software no longer works so I say give flydigi time to update their application.

Were the joysticks tests done with updated controller firmware?

The joystick test was done before the firmware update. Also, I was able to recalibrate the joystick later on down the with the software. the average joystick test went down to a 5 percent error rate.

I don't know why but adaptive trigger feedback didn't work on spider man miles morales i followed the instructions but didn't work for me when i press activation ther is a quick lodging that appears after that the app close automatically i have the cracked version of the game could help me !

I just try it for my controller, and I was able to get it working for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales version of the game. Now I do own both games so I'm not sure if that's a reason. I will look into it more.

We are waiting for reWASD to add support for the Apex 3 so we can use the extra buttons as unique buttons. When that happens, it might be the very best controller for Street Fighter 6 or any game that primarily used the d-pad. Unfortunately, until we get reWASD support, there is little reason to use the controller over others. If you want to play games that primarily use the analog stick, the Apex 2 or Vader 2 are way better since they have way more buttons and all buttons are unique with reWASD support. If you want to use the d-pad, the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma has an extra button.

You can do that already, within their app. I have mapped Keyboard buttons on my Apex 3 for Rocket league. I love it.

The Apex 2 is probably better than this minus the screen. It has more buttons and features. I think I fucked up buying this one instead of the APEX 2.

@@NoBodysGamer no it is. On the Switch it brings 4 trigger profiles. The last makes the trigger go off like a machine gun. Pretty cool

​​​@@Shinobi33 whoah, good to know the force feedback also works in switch mode. i have the Apex 2, but i cant play switch with it and the triggers are not linear/ analog. this made me buy an apex 3 instead. i play on multiple platforms, i need it to play on switch, and analog triggers for pc games

@@Onion_Knights I use the Apex 3 as my main Switch controller now. Love the micro switch face buttons. They're as good on a $250 Razer controller I bought for the PS5. This controller turned out to be pretty good. Plus I can use the thumbsticks from the Apex 2 which turned out to be the one I don't really use since I don't game on the go
