@Jessica I am very confident that britneys lawyer knew about these recordings WAY before the NY times documentary. That documentary took months and months, and the fact that rosengart mentioned it in court, to me, proves he has the evidence and it's been handed over to the proper authorities. This is a criminal matter (the recordings) that Matthew cannot press charges for. The state must do that (dept of justice, which matthew worked at previously and has friends there). I HIGHLY doubt it will be played for the public as it's now evidence, likely in an open investigation. Allegedly
@dimitri_stag44983 жыл бұрын
True.. But as per the security guard, lou taylor's company allegedly has a copy of the recordings as well.. So.. Hopefully now one will leak it as vengeance or something

@Jessica how do you know he didn't contact the authorities before the documentary came out? How do you know, hmm? Did you read rosengarts court filings where he brought up the documentary and the allegations made about the recordings? You really think he didn't know about this A LONG time ago ? Cmon, you can't be that naive. Did you listen to rosengarts statement yesterday after court ? Where he said the authorities at looking at these allegations. Educate yourself before you spread misinformation.

This is an example of good journalists. They aren’t being slime balls, they have her back. They say that they reviewed a copy of the recording. The former security guard has, and will continue to keep that private recording private. In fact, I’ll bet that he didn’t even allow The NY Times journalists to hear the entire thing. I’ll bet money that he only allowed them to listen long enough to authenticate. He seems to be about protecting Britney, not exploiting her more than she already has been.

@kimwhitehead90963 жыл бұрын
@@pppp-bw6zx Not yet. Journalists do not just hand over items to lawyers. And lawyers do not just accept items from journalists. There is a code of ethics (or should be) between these two disciplines. BS attorneys just have to subpoena the audio recordings now. In terms of publicity or the court of public opinion, the release of these recordings in the press plays better for the lawyers. Remember, yesterday wasn’t a criminal case. These recordings weren’t necessary. Jamie had agreed to step down. All had agreed that Britney no longer needs a conservatorship. Getting Jamie suspended was the first step in the criminal investigation. Now he has to turn over all his records, accounts, spending, earnings, etc. AND he will have to deal with law enforcement with the illegal wire tapping, etc.

It should be illegal to ask for/require an NDA in a conservator ship. This should be made a law in all states. Also, law enforcement needs to look at not just Jamie Spears, but Jamie’s lawyers, the court appointed lawyer for Brittney, the original judge, Tri-Star, Black Box and I’m sure many more. If you have health/medical concerns about your child, or anyone for that matter, and take on a conservatorship to help them, why are you drugging them and working them like a slave? Also, the original judge asked how much money Brittney made in the course of a year, why not end the conservatorship at that time? If she’s making that much money, she must be mostly ok - or at least ok enough to make her own decisions. These “people” found themselves a lottery ticket and the receipts are going to show this. Jamie’s the worst because this was his own flesh and blood and he chose the money over her. Sick.

So many people have profited off Britney. The NYT have done some excellent reporting on this! HOWEVER holding & reviewing these covert recordings of Britney, which were obtained WITHOUT HER CONSENT clearly appears to be an infringement of her human rights. I question the legality & ethics of Liz, Samantha & the NYT holding this personal data (audio files), given how the recordings were obtained. Now Liz, Samantha & the NYT ARE YOU GOING TO DO THE RIGHT THING???? HAND THESE RECORDINGS OVER TO BRITNEY/ HER LEGAL TEAM & DELETE ALL COPIES!!!! Or will you too abuse Britney's human rights, so you can advance your work, carers, reputation and financiallly profit off Britney? If you truly stand in the integrity & motivations you claim, Britney should not have to commence legal proceedings to get HER 'data' back!! So many have claimed to be 'helping' Britney, but they have seemingly acted out of self interest and abused her!! We are all watching!!!

They do not have to reveal their sources, but they’ve left enough clues for Britney’s lawyer to contact them directly

So how do you think Rosengart is doing an investigation and looking to see if charges can be pressed if he doesn’t have the tapes. Think about it. Check this investigation about Britney’s Trust and what’s taken place kzbin.info/www/bejne/noi2pqN5oq1-pas Not many know about it and this needs to be known

@@kbf6434 🤔 Kinda missing my point. I think the decent/ethical thing to do would be for the NYT to contact Britney's team and give back her data. I agree they should not have to reveal their sources unless compelled by law to do so - that is the law in most places. Yet, this does not prevent them from giving Britney her data back. What motivation is there for them to hold on to it?

@@HGCUPCAKES So you are proposing Liz and Samantha just lied in this clip about not working with, nor being contacted by Britney's team? I am assuming Liz and Samantha are intelligent women and would have anticipated this question and would be able to answer or swerve it without lying.

@@HB-md8ly Not missing the point. Journalism ethics state they do not have to reveal their sources. First Amendment covers that. However, since the security person who made the extra copies of everything was identified in the documentary, Britney's attorney already knows where to look & who to subpoena.

So this is obviously an invasion of privacy and I understand they wanted to authenticate it, but to sit there and listen to all of it....I don't think that's any better than the people who recorded and listened in the first place. Why would you listen to her private conversations? I hope they only listened to random clips throughout just to authenticate it was her and didn't sit there and listen to all of it....
