hey man this is awesome can you do a tutorial on how to make the apps and programs for this as i want to make ar headset that uses a kinect that is mounted the the uses head and has gesture control and voice control like yours but in reverse can you help as i have no experience with kinects thanks.

Wow, great! I'm trying to develop the similar game with kinect, but I have an hard experience to use y-coordination. If you're okay, Can you tell me whether using y-coordination(I mean the eye's height(=camera's height)), and if you use that, tell me how to use it.

Would you consider sharing the .Net code you used? I am thinking sbout controlling my Nissan Leaf with PowerShell, and would rather not convert all the python code agein if I dont have to... :-)

Does the image truly look 3D without being stereoscopic? I'm trying to do something similar but I feel like the parallax effect alone might not be enough...

You're correct. IRL you need stereoscopic 3D. I've done that using anaglyph and active 3D shutter glasses. The latter has problems with a horizontal display like this due to polarization. But with stereoscopic 3D this is really convincing in real life!
