Informative video, as always. I'm learning the Aston Martin, but seeing your thought process in different cars and seeing how each setup affects your driving is really helpful in adding more nuance to my understanding of setups and driving in ACC in general. Well done, mate 👏🏻

Thanks for the set-up information. I've been using the Aston Martin ones for the last couple of weeks. They really helped improve my races. And the videos about fundamentals.

I'm using ecu 4 as I see that as most fit then it comes to understeer, lambo is the only car in acc there you regulate the steering with ecu. Ecu 1 most understeer and ecu 5 most oversteer but same power on all the ecu's

Any tips for my case, i've got a league race in silverstone coming up and with 34c track temps i keep torching the left rear, after a few laps it stay above 97 for the entire lap, my laptime on 60l of fuel is around the 2.00.0 but i feel i could go faster. I tried brake ducts and toe, but made almost 0 difference.
@SimracingArnout5 ай бұрын
Toe doesn't help you in this game for the moment. Brake ducts do, like 6. But there is always a compromise to make. Like Zandvoort, the front left will always overheat in hot conditions
@HowlerBikeVlogs5 ай бұрын
@@SimracingArnout good to know, zandvoort is in a month and i've not raced there before, or at least not that i can remember

@@HowlerBikeVlogs try to get every tire in the 70-100 window, if 1 peaks around 110, you could increase the brake ducts on that axle, but if that means that a lower temp tire will be -70, then i would rather have a peak tire then 1 tire being to cold, but thats just me
@HowlerBikeVlogs5 ай бұрын
@@SimracingArnout coldest tire sits around 78-80 so thats fine. Im going to try max ducts tonight but if it doesnt help, im just gonna race with the hot tire. Its a 2hr race with 2 mandatory refueling pitstops, wanna do 60min 55min and then a splash and dash to get to the end.

Love the videos! Your Mercedes AMG setup video has been amazing for me! Have you thought about doing a Honda NSX setup video guide? I'm planning on using that car next season, but I know its notoriously hard to control.

You actually could put TC and ABS to 1, and BB to 50-51. Also you can use Damper setup Meta, with Min-Min-Max-Max on 4 wheels. That's what I do and I do low 59' on the Huracan. PS : You said it has bad top speed but good acceleration, let me correct. Going out of corners is good, the moment you're in 3rd gear and higher, it has no power
