Bravo Jason, everything you do makes so much sense ! I do it all the time with my dog, even after 10 years… once running up the stairs , I tripped over him and almost broke all my teeth on cement stairs…. From then on , he walks beside me or beyond… keep repeating… thanks again for all your great work.

Brilliant, love it. Luckily this time there were no other dogs or people on the way to daycare. Is it possible to see a video in which you meet anyone on your way? Would you let other dogs pass first to be able to still do your process?

I will do another one with other dogs no worries at all. Yes if you see other dogs and your dog is too excited let them go by then move one once they are gone. However your ultimate goal is to keep control no matter what. This is as process that takes time and patience like all things in dog training.

@@jasonharrisdogtraining thank you so much for replying. Things definitely take their time, but I love your approach of correcting the dog plus reinforcement, versus only positive reinforcement. Because THAT takes even longer to show results! Love your videos

@@TheSummergirl25 yes dog training seems to be very divided between positive only or a balanced approach that combines corrections and positive reinforcement. For me it's all about using the approach that gets results that are sustainable and easy to learn.
