Had to swap my -35 70mm to that same spec but with pro shimano brand. We have the same frame size and height. I must say it is pretty darn better than -35. Negated th aggressive angle with bottom headset adapter for tapered fork.

-35 is too aggressive, -25 for me is too slack especially for trails. And also uncomfortable

Hi, how about a 5’7” guy, Medium 29er. Stem would be the Control Tech 70mm -25?
@vincevlog97943 жыл бұрын
I think that would be ok. 70 mm isn't that long. You could get 50 mm negative 25.

Hi Boss just saw this -17 video and also the -25 video of yours. I just Ordered a -25 stem.

@vincevlog97943 жыл бұрын

Im a 6ft in height. It is okah for me go use 70 mm stem? Thanks for response in advance.
@vincevlog97943 жыл бұрын
the stem length is based on your frame size. If your frame is a bit smaller, then a longer stem would improve geometry.
@deanescobarjugo56323 жыл бұрын
@@vincevlog9794 my frame is 29er and it indicates medium. I think that's a bit smaller for a 6ft guy like me. Probably i thingk 70mm should enough? Btw thanks for the info bro. Ridesafe
@vincevlog97943 жыл бұрын
@@deanescobarjugo5632 it's better sir if you could try the bike personally, probably 70 mm is fine or maybe it's still too short. For me, I choose the 70 mm because it fits my riding style and geometry, it is best for XC. I could go 90 mm for a more aggressive stance, but It would be a lot scarier on downhill trails. Especially, that your weight will be more on the front portion of the bike.
