I would stick to the silver bits against that shade you have chosen, especially as you have wisely chosen to keep the rims silver, adding black would be taking away from the OEM+ flavour your trying to achieve. Can't wait to see it painted because a car shaped like that will look epic in an outlandish shade / colour😎👌 those headlights on the Jag tho🔥

Nice color. I do agree that the front plastic bits would look great in gloss black. Also, the headlight plastic housing/shroud (not the lense) should be done in gloss black as well. Would contrast that yellow well.

You don’t need to sit a trailer test anymore since the rules changed in Dec 16th 2021 If you passed your car driving test from 1 January 1997, you’re now allowed to tow trailers up to 3,500kg MAM.

Classic Shmee150 taking colours from the extremes of the colour pallet, but it has worked up to this point. The base colour is great but I like the concept of adding black accents like the AMG GT the accents highlight the key colour and help define the shape of the car, however it comes out it is likely to be unique in the world of V6 Clio’s. Just don't park it next to the Firefly as you will have to recalibrate all your video equipment.

Always thought they looked great in yellow - though I do prefer a darker yellow with more orange to it. I think something like the Porsche Signal Yellow would look incredible, but the acid yellow looks good too.

Announcement of the color change in the last video I said to myself, would look cool in a bright green with yellow pearl. Was surprised I was close to it! This has been a great project series so far. Tim towing seems to be his happy place who knew. 😁 To the previous owner it must be a joy to see it getting much needed love to get it back to like new. I’ll tell you what I’m more interested in this than a new supercar. Acid yellow is fine if it was a factory colour I’m behind keeping it look as standard from the outside as can be done. I don’t think Tim realises it but this is a keeper like the Ford GT. I so want to see how far you an push it to fixing, restoring it an adventure. “ My friend bought a new……and Shmeetow has it covered we have six hours round trip let’s go”

Lol yep, the tennis ball. They should put the name "Tennis Ball" somewhere on the car. Maybe make some highlighter yellow accents on the interior. Something to make the car completely bespoke. It'd be really cool if they made it as bright of yellow as the firefly is orange. Maybe put in some fluorescein.

Which appears to be the majority of the factory spec cars (though some are in silver), maybe a nice accent to leave the side pods in silver to match the wheels.

You should get the v6 Clio trophy spoiler for it they look aggressive without been ott. Going to look ace in acid yellow, and definitely do the plastic grills gloss black or something. I did the black plastics on the front of my old gti tcr in gloss black to match the upper grill and the difference it made was amazing.

Hi, Borja! 🙂 I'm based in the north of England. I think the reason your kind of temperatures are so unusual here is that they vary from our norm by so much, and aren't predictable. In Texas I'm guessing that you'll have summers that are either hot or extremely hot; it's brutal but not surprising, because Texas summers are SUPPOSED to be hot. It's a huge place with enough room to develop grown-up and relatively stable weather systems (both good and bad ones). Britain isn't. It's a tiny chip of damp granite half the size of a Texan turnip field, adrift in an icy North Sea, exactly half way between two climate extremes: Mediterranean heat swirling up from the south and freezing winds howling down from the Arctic. Stuck in the middle, UK weather's best described as 'changeable', but I prefer the word 'stooopid'. The typical lousy summer is probably 12°C if we're lucky (with occasional sleet showers 🤭), so the jump to over 30°C every couple of days (maybe, maybe not. Nobody knows...) is enough to empty reservoirs, buckle railway tracks, melt motorways, start wildfires, and cause heatstroke havoc amongst the elderly members of the population. Britain doesn't 'do' air-conditioning - because we NEVER get hot weather, except for those occasions every 43⅐ years when we get hot weather🙄 - so 'high' temperatures are rare enough to be an unpleasant surprise and a nuisance. The winters are ludicrous, too. Pathetic, even. Nothing like as extreme as elsewhere in the world of course, where peeps get 'proper' winters, but just bad enough to be inconvenient, annoying, and too unpredictable to manage easily. Again, temperatures can fluctuate by an enormous amount [or not at all] day by day, making it really tricky to guess what's coming tomorrow and make plans accordingly. Personally, I think the invading Romans only went home 2,000 years ago because they missed the sensible Italian climate. And the mighty Vikings gave up 1,000 years later because they found our very British winters embarrassing. I spent a few years in East Africa in the late 70s and early 80s, right on the Equator. Nobody had air-con either in their homes or their cars. I was often out in the middle of nowhere, and dry-season midday temperatures hovered around the 130°F mark [about 55°C] which was horrendous. Horrendous but predictable and made bearable by the air being dry. I think that humidity makes a big difference, which is why Britain's much more modest heat feels so nasty and sticky in comparison. Anyway, I hope you're managing to keep cool over there. Turn up the air-con and enjoy a chilled beverage or two...😁

Hi guys. Interesting video - love the v6 cilo! I'm not sure about the new colour...! I do love the black gold. Btw, the UK towing law changed last December meaning you don't need to do a trailer test anymore.

He's mentioned the change to the towing laws several times now in videos. He did the test and got the certification before it changed though. I do believe that there is a weight limit to what you can tow without the certification as well.

Seeing Brad turn the E500 climate down to 16 degrees to get it colder quicker. . . Just leave it at 21 degrees, it will get the interior down to the selected temp as quickly as possible - unlike cars with a hot>cold dial. Climate is set a normal temp & leave it (21-22 is perfect usually).
